The fabulous location, fabulous facade, soothing ambience after getting flattered by these this place has lot more to give , courteous staff , cleanliness.out of world fusion cuisine, have tried couple of beers and few mouth watering dishes. quinoa & mushroom haleem.ohh god that was nirvana.other than this mathri sev puri, some mutton curry. Even the peanuts they prepare were so delicious.thanks AIWACY for wonderful experience.
Well located in the quiet bylanes of Reclamation, Bandra, this is a fantastic cost place. We tried1) Litti choka (7 star dish) – This dish from UP/Bihar belt is one of the best in Mumbai. I so loved the dish. The aloo sabzi, roasted baba ghanoush (baigan bharta). The multigrain baked dough. This is a must try dish in Mumbai. Super healthy, Super Tasty2) Lo Cal bhel – Quinoa, Avacado. This was absolutely perfect with pomegranate and crunchies3) Dal Khichdi- very Soothing served in the mud clay bowl & basket with perfect accompaniment of papad, pickle and onions4) Goldenf fried brocolli corn – this was crisp, crunchy, healthy and tasty. Didnt like the makhana gravy though at all.Must try.I am going again here.
It’s a good place to be. Visited here with a good friend few weeks back. This place is a little too inside if you come following the google map.Although this place is in reclamation, this restaurant is very amazing from inside. I loved the interior of the place..Also, there variety of food over here. The starters & maincourse were nice but the dessert was too good.We had a dessert which has alcohol in it. It was good in taste. And i think this dessert needs to be tried by everyoneRasgullah Truffle was very uniquely presentedIt came on a cocktail glass, a stick which has 3 pieces of i think white rasgulla coated with chocolate and inside the glass there was a milky liquidy dessert which also had rum in it.I had a great experience coming to this place.
This cute little outlet from the streets of bandra reclamation is totally winning our hearts, with a good variety of food options in both veg and nonveg one should definitely visit this placeSince we were over enthusiastic we ended up ordering alot of dishes but there were few that caught our eyes and heartsIn StartersJalpeno Malai Tikka and Andhra Style Prawns were absolutely lovelyIn MainsDiliwala Butter Chicken was mind blowing, Dal Pakwan was just perfect and Agri Prawns were totally lipsmacking which was served along with bakriAnd lastly the desserts were the best ones here Rasgulla Truffle with Irish Cream which was the best and most unique one I ever had till date , totally enjoyed it and savoured it till last bite , also we called for Filter Kaapi Baked Yoghurt which was again tempting and deliciousOverall this is a small place and perfect for small gatherings
A true gem in the heart of Bandra reclamation. They offer contemporary but desi Modern Indian Dining. One can visit with family and friends alike to enjoy a leisurely evening accompanied with some great food and drinks. We tried some of their signature dishes and cocktails like :Bull By The Horn (Must-try!)Star Anise & Dagad PhoolJalapeno Malai Tikka (Absolutely recommend trying this!)Andhra Style Fish & ChipsDilliwala Butter Chicken (A must-try again for the creamy delight it has to offer)Rasgulla Truffle With Irish Cream (Their best dessert without a doubt!)And It Was Called Yellow ticks all the boxes as far as food, ambience and hospitality is concerned. Worth many more visits.#AndItWasCalledYellow #AllThingsYellow #ModernIndianCuisine #IndianCuisine #ContemporaryButDesi
Overall rating: 4.1/5The concept of Modern Indian is perfect for Indian food lovers, who want some change. The setting is ideal for a family dinner. The interiors were unimpressive, with a very regular restaurant type seating and décor, Âinfact the place where we were sitting was a seating stuffed between 2 walls with not adequate space in between, which was slightly uncomfortable. The service was prompt, and the manager as well as the servers were very courteous. They had a variety of dishes in vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian, including seafood.Certain dishes stood out from the others, which were:1. Jalapeno Malai Tikka2. Andhra Style Fish & Chips3. Rasgulla Truffle with Irish CreamMocktails1.Aam Panna The Aam Panna had a very medicinal taste to it, one of the reasons probably being that it was served at room temperature. The Aam Panna flavour was evident, but it wasn’t enjoyable.2. Gooseberry SourThe gooseberry lime combination with a hint of ginger was quite delightful. It had a candy like taste with just the adequate amount of sourness.Starters3. Jalapeno Malai TikkaChicken Tikka is a regular dish for me, but never have I eaten something of this sort! The jalapeno flavor was subtle in this malai tikka, which was so soft, flavourful & a grand start to our meal.4. Andhra style fish & ChipsAnother brilliance from their kitchen! Thick crispy exterior, with a super soft, melt-in-mouth interior, perfected in a way rarely found. And to top it all, the fish had a distinct flavor, and was not bland at all.5.The Greek SeekhVegetarian Seekh with a feta filling & served with a pomegranate curd shot glass. The seekh was soft and cooked well, but the taste wasn’t so appealingMains6.Agri PrawnsCoconut based prawns curry served with ghee rice bhakri. The bhakri & the prawns gave a very homemade familiar feel to it, considering I eat a lot of Konkani food. Also, even though it was a filling dish, it wasn’t heavy and the prawns were also generously present in the gravy.7. Dilliwali Butter ChickenGenerally I am not very fond of butter chicken as they are either too creamy or too sweet. Their version was just amply creamy and not sweet; heavy (as North Indian gravies are) but delectable.Desserts8.Rasmalai truffle with Irish CreamThe highlight of our meal- Chocolate coated Rasgulla tasted just so good- wow! Instead of the rasgulla syrup, we dipped the truffle in their Irish cream, and that took the taste to another level. Kudos to the chef for this concoction.9.Filter Kaafi Baked YoghurtI opted for this one, as the other options were double ka meetha. I wish they had more options, as this one didn’t work for me. I felt it needed to be quite a bit sweeter. With the kind of food we ate, the basic interiors don’t do justice to it. Some dishes were so good, makes my water every time I think about it. If your stomach is craving for fancy Indian food, this place can definitely be your choice.
