My craving to experience an Arabic restaurant in Mumbai came somewhat to rest when I stumbled upon this eatery in Bandra. I liked the music and the ambience for a fairly small place. The place feels rather hip because of the crowd. Surprisingly it was full even on a Monday night. This place serves sheesha but I did not give it a try due to 😛 . Coming to the food the portions are not very large except for the rice preparations. We tried the Arbab special batata harra, hummus bil lahm, and Arabic mix grill as recommended by the waiter. Notably the hummus and the pita bread both were delish. The mixed grill is presented in a fancy way. The very first dish was served by the chef, who I recognized was not Indian. They have two Lebanese chefs. So that’s how authentic it can get! A little on the expensive side but probably that’s my opinion as I haven’t tried out their other offerings. A place worth the try if you love Arabic food!
