One of the best places to have Cantonese and Chinese food. The ambience , staff , vibe everything of this place is just exceptional. You feel special from the moment you enter it’s premises. The seating arrangements are good with dim lights. Now the food, The quality of the food is super. We orderedRed monsoon in mocktails – the different flavors blended so beautifully.Crispy tofu with szhecuan pepper and kashmiri chillies- it was ultra tasty. The tofu was soft from inside and crisp from outside. Having two peppers still the dish was not extra spicy. It was apt.Four style vegetable stir fry in szhecuan sauce- it went well with the noodles.Hakka noodles- one of the best noodles I have had.I wanted to try the dim sums but being vegetarian, couldn’t find any. There are very few options for vegetarians here. Would suggest to include more.Overall a great place to have Pan Asian cuisine with lovely service and hospitality.

We went for their set menu which had a mix of mocktail, dimsums, main course and desert! I loved their dimsums, they were quite flavourful. Also, the egg fried rice and the chicken starter was great. Loved their deserts the most!

One of the places to try the original pan Asian and Cantonese cuisine, if new to it. The classy and sophisticated place is very rejoicing to dine at or go for a date. Enjoy the refreshing cocktails, mocktails and special brewed tea. There is a phenoix menu, Mumbai curated menu, lotus menu in according to which you can order or can go for alacarte I ordered, The dimsum platter which turned out to be of amazing flavours and perfectly made expect for the one of the jackfruit, it was rather sharp in taste and pungent smelling The carrot cake had a delicious flavour of garlic and balanced with sesame The jasmine fried rice weren’t any ordinary fried rice but made with distinct flavours and always worth the try The pan fried tofu was just mouth watering for it was made perfectly crispy and the spice was held The noodles weren’t oily or undercooked but just correct. The price for the menu is not too extravagant or lowPriced

Decent place for a full course Oriental meal. Opted for the safest option- the dimsum lunch- since this was my first visit. A Blonde Hopper accompanied the food. Proper hargaos- soft & juicy- perfectly made. The Chicken suimai was good but I believe they could have spiced it up a bit, just a bit. The Shanghai Dumpling was a delight- the tangy sauce that comes with it is awesome. The main course had Egg fried rice- very properly cooked and tasy. However, the kung pao chicken again lacked the spice- was a bit bland. Opted for the dessert of the day and the anniversary special macaron. Decent. No complaints.Overall, a pretty good place for the price and the fare. A little spicing up might just elevate their game

HakkasanI visited Hakkasan after the long hype. It is very similar to Yauatcha as after all it is by the same hospitality. Cost: 3000/4000 for twoLocation: BandraCuisine: CantoneseRecommendations: Carrot Cake, Dimsum Basket, Yaki Udon Noodles. Staff: Very Courteous and sweet. Reservations are recommended. It is heavily priced. Lets get started with the ambience. The blue lights are a big no for me as I feel something hitting my eye too much. I prefer yauatcha though. We tried the dimsums, carrot cake and yaki udon noodles. The soy tofu is love if you love tofu. Also, we had chocolate mousse with mandarin. The mousse tastes like toffee and is very milk chocolate based, so if you like that, go for it. Also, special thank you for their service. I was not well, so they got me honey, lemon and hot water. Overall good experience. Portals : Eazydiner for complimentary dessert theglocaljournal.com
