Last Sunday breakfast, we stopped at Gulmohar Restaurant since it’s impossible to visit this place on other working days, particularly when you have a vehicle with you. The food was quite decent and tasty. The service was good and quick.
LocationThis place is bang opposite to Lucky Restaurant in Bandra alongside the skywalk.FoodI ordered for Chicken Kolhapuri (Rs.60) and Chapati (Rs.5) ,with Buttermilk and a cold drink.Looking at the price they serve,The Kolhapuri is delicious as expected from a Irani style restaurant (as they call it).I wanted to have another glass of Buttermilk but they went out of stock for it. That’s where the colddrink came in and i had to away with it.The Chapati was a bit dry and hard. They also serve sliced onions with lemon wedge like other restaurants.Good.Ambience and ServiceThe seating arrangement is decent and clean.Only problem,When I asked for my fourth portion of Chapati(yes,I did),the server brought it in his hand.I am not.expecting a 5star service from a local restaurant but all he could have done is bring it in a plate and then serve.Hotel Gulmohar is a sweet nice place.It is one of those restaurant where you visit with colleagues during your lunch break.
