Situated at the end of hill road, on the right hand side, Invincible – boudoir & jardin is one of its kind resto lounge based on the lines of boudoir concept meaning seperate rooms for ladies. The ambience of this place is made up of bright paintings on the walls with exquisite furniture gracing the place. The music that was being played during our visit was had a very chilled vibe, getting you into the mood to groove.Coming to what we ordered1. Mocktails – We ordered an Apple one & passion fruit one. Both the drinks were chilled, super refreshing and had a distinct taste to it.Passion fruit was tangy sweet. Apple one came along with an apple slice.2. Minced chicken basil galette- As this dish arrived, the dark green colour made me a bit skeptical, but as soon as I took first bite, left me amazed. The spicyness was perfect & tenderness of minced chicken left us wanting for more.3. Thai style chicken quaking – This was more of a oriental chicken chilly style preparation with chicken cooked in corn flour. This was tender & warm as well. Both the appetizers tasted really good.4. Grilled chicken breast – For mains we went with grilled chicken breast. The chicken breast served along with mashed potatoes were grilled to perfection. Mashed potatoes went really well with chicken breast & was super filling.5. Roti kanai with seafood kedgeree – This mains we tried was mind blowing to say least. The laccha paratha served here is simply the best I have tried till date, it had the perfect amount of crispness to it & seafood gravy made a perfect combo. Also the prawns rice was so wholesome & delicious, we wished it had never ended.6. Apple tart – We wanted to try the tiramisu but since it wasn’t available, we ordered apple tart which came along with a scoop of ice cream on top. The tart was warm & gooey, but also a bit extra oily. Ice cream gave complete justice to the tart & both together tasted really well.7. Blueberry cheesecake- This has to be my favourite dessert of the evening. Simply one of the best cheesecake I have tried in a while. Generally cheesecakes tend to be on heavier side, but this one was so smooth & yummy , we were left wanting for more of it. If you are visiting this place anytime soon, do try the cheesecake without fail.Overall a nice place to spend an evening over a wide range of cocktails & yum food with your loved one.

As a person who lives in Bandra, there is a lot of choice when it comes to dining outside. However in reality, few places manage to call you back multiple times.Newly opened invincible Boudoir Jarden has become my new go to place. Located on hill road, near holy family hospital, this place is is quite phenomenal. The ambience resembles a cigar lounge. The theme of red and blue is bold and rebilious .While I was here I decided to try quite few dishes and cocktails with the recommendation and excellent service of Yogesh. We started with ordering a round of drinks.P*** star Martini: this arrives in a rounded Martini glass where the rim is coated with sugar. You can definitely taste the champagne and the vodka. Pretty nice if you like strong unsweetened cocktails.Cest la vie: this is a gin based cocktail and has bits of citrus as well as crushed BlackBerry. Pretty good as well. This is a no nonsense cocktail that I completely enjoyed.Crispy Korean chicken croquet: Awesome! This was so nice and crispy and stuffing was extremely tasty. Pairs very well with cocktails and is a good starter by itself as well. Highly recommend you try this out.Minced chicken basil gallett: I like it when chefs get creative. This one is a creatively made gallett where the chef softens the entire dish with the use of basil sauce and garlic. Totally delicious.Butter garlic prawns: since I don’t eat beef or pork I asked them to hold on the bacon bits that are originally part of this dish. Prawns cooked perfectly. unlike your traditional butter garlic prawns this one is made in a translucent white sauce.Roti canai with seafood kedgeree: the star of the evening. The rice is infused with calamari prawn and crab. It was heavenly. The roti was excellent. And the chicken superb. This dish made me fall in love. Malvan inspired dish, I can assure you that it makes you feel like you are at the the beach. Highly recommend you try this out.Panna cotta with cranberry coulie: the Panna cotta was silky and jiggly- the perfect consistency. The tart cranberry coolie pad perfectly against the creamy Panna cotta. A complete winner dish.Petit Chocolate gateau: the presentation of this dish is superb. It is shaped like a dome and has overnight infused basil seeds. The Dome has multiple layers off white and chocolate. I could not put my finger as to what the white part was but it is pretty stiff. A good dish overall.Certainly a great place to hang out with your friends and work colleagues. The location the food the ambience are spot on. Will be visiting this place soon especially for the Kedegree

Invincible Boudoir et Jardin the first resto-lounge in Bandra boasts the French art & culture. Along with indoor seating the restaurants also hosts their guest at their Champagne garden decorated with the artificial garden wall that gives an inviting feel. The term Boudoir means “private room for ladies” and this place has considerably achieved its goal by eloquently designing an intimate place in hues of reds & blues. We were invited at the place for a food review and there’s a different bloggers menu set specifically for the food bloggers. Being a vegetarian we had very limited options. WHAT WE HAD: 1. WASABI EDAMAME HUMMUS: The Wasabi Edamame Hummus is a spicy, tantalising take on classic hummus. Like most versions of hummus the base of this one is made with chickpeas and tahini but the bulk of it is the hearty Edamame which is salted green soyabeans mixed with Wasabi, & garlic. It is extremely healthy and very addictive. The hummus is served with baked Khakra & boiled Edamame. The Khakra was so deliciously crunchy that we HAD TO reorder it. 2. CRISPY SWEET POTATO ARANCINI (BALLS): Packed with protein and goodness these crispy balls served with the Cranberry Apple compote (fruit syrup) make an excellent finger food/ mini meal. We absolutely love love loved this Italian dish. 3. CHOCOLATE BALL: To say this chocolate ball is just yummy would be an understatement. This eggless dessert served at Invincible Boudoir et Jardin is so worthy of it’s gooey goodness. It had a perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess to it. You may be tempted to save this for later since these smooth chocolate ball is divine.

Invincible Boudoir is located right below Mia Cucina on Hill road and is managed by the same management that runs Mia Cucina. The cuisine offered is Modern Indian, Continental and Fusion food. This place is a bit dark in lighting and hence is best suited for a casual lunch. You can visit this place on Friday, Saturday or Sunday and this place turns into a pub at night. The people working here are kind and courteous. The music is wonderful and the ambience with exception of the lights is wonderful. The seats are extremely comfortable. We had some mocktails which were as follows:1) Apple one: This one tastes like concentrated apples. It consists of spiced apple shrub and ginger beer. I totally loved the hit of ginger with the apple. Rate it 4.7/52) Pine apple one: This was the best mocktail out of the 4 we had. Tasty. Highly recommended. Consists of jalapeno pineapple shrub, basil, apple and soda. Rate it 5/53) Blackberry One: This one tastes predominantly of blackberry and water. I liked it but comparing it with the others this one was a bit damp. Rate it 4/54) Virgin Pina colada: One of my favourite all time drinks. This is coconut, pineapple and vanilla ice cream blend together to create a harmony. I love this one. Rate it 4.6/5Coming to the service we were served by Yogesh who throughout the service was calm composed and courteous. He recommended the best dishes in the menu. I loved his approach to customers. Rate his service 5/5The food was prepared by Chef Ashok who loves his cooking and makes fusion food. He takes the original and bends it in a way as to make it tasty especially to the Indian palette. We ordered for the following appetizers:1) Sous vide Kolhapuri Mutton chops: This is mutton chops coated with cilantro, celery and pepper crust. It was overcooked hence couldn’t enjoy it completely. However it has a great potential. The coconut gazpacho was fantastic. Perfectly balanced. Rate this dish 4/52) Tender Pork Ribs: This was by far the best dish of the evening. Perfectly cooked pork ribs. Tender succulent and delicious. The BBQ sauce had a good flavour and it had maybe garlic as well in the sauce which just enhanced the flavours. Finger licking good. Rate it 5/53) Butter garlic prawns: Traditional butter garlic prawns with a twist. It had bacon bits and that added the salty fatty texture and taste to the dish. Perfectly cooked prawns in butter and garlic. It also had green chillies. Yummy but spicy. Could have been presented better. Rate it 4.5/5Coming to the mains:1) Roti Canai with seafood kedgeree: This is laccha paratha with butter chicken masala. Also served is seafood kedgeree which has a khichdi like texture made of rice and cooked till soft. It had prawns in the kedgeree. Seasoned perfectly. I enjoyed the rice more than butter chicken masala in it. This dish gives you both the wheat and rice options in one. Rate it 4.4/52) Grilled Chicken breast with pepper corn jus, mashed potatoes and sauted veggies. Loved the taste of the mash with the chicken breast. Quantity is good. Perfectly presented. The chicken was a touch overcooked. Rate it 4.6/5For desserts i had the apple pie which was baked well and had a good taste. It was decent and enjoyable. Rate it 4/5Overall the service and some dishes like the pork ribs, butter garlic prawns and kedgeree turned out to be the best dishes. All the mocktails were great. The bartender is fabulous.I would visit again soon!Till then Bon Appetit!!
