  JLWA Bandra is a nice place with music. The service is good and the food is also tasty. Though a bit pricey, the place does justice by serving good portions. Rating: 3.5*

  This place has a great ambiance but the food and mocktails are a disappointment. it’s a great place to hang out with friends, enjoy the music and drinks but the food leaves one let down. Detailed review belowFood:-1) Cheesy Cheese MMT – We were excited to order this this seeing Fondue on the description but what came to the table was decidedly NOT a Fondue. Its just an ordinary chicken kebab drenched in cheap cheesy sauce. Guys, if you write a fondue then deliver the fondue. Otherwise pick up a dictionary and learn the meaning of Fondue2) Nimboo Kalimirch Chicken – We could hardly taste any kalimirch or nimboo in this kebab. Frankly it tasted almost exactly like the kebab above. 3) Peri Peri Roasted Chicken Pizza – This is a very thin crust pizza. The crust is almost wafer like. Overall the pizza was decent but bland. 4) JLWA Margherita – Again the same type of pizza as above. Again felt it to be a little bland but decent overall. Mocktails:- 1) Spicy Watermelon Mint – huge letdown. When you pay more than 350 bucks for a drink you expect it to be more than just a watered down watermelon juice, but this was just that. Waste of money2) Orange Punch – This was a better drink than above. We still expected something better for the price than a drink that tasted like Tropicana carton juice. Service:- Service was overall friendly, quick and polite. No complaints there.Ambiance:- This is the biggest selling point of this place. The ambiance is quite good, although not as good as LOTD. The place is dimly lit with music playing, with DJ after 10/10:30pm at night. Overall we felt that the food and mocktails are not worth it for the expensive prices that they charge. There are better equivalent restaurants with similar ambiance but much better food around.

  We ended up here for lunch earlier this week and we ended up here! The biryani was fabulous and definitely the best we had. Well spiced, not too dry and came with a side of salad and raita! We also had pesto pasta which we loved till the Biryani came into the picture. The nachos were okay and the cheese dahi ke kebabs were good but a wee bit bland for my liking. I loved loved loved the orange punch which was bang on flavours. No essences and not so sweet unlike so many other places. Simply loved this particular beverage.   Best place in Bandra and best part is very near to station. Ambience is so chic and classy, the middle tall chairs and the walls cushiony chairs with a color combo of green and the yellow lights hanging was just the perfect ambience to go for a dinner date with your buddies and your partner.What we ordered & ate:1. Tandoori makhane popcorn: 5/5 Not just some random popcorn but tandoori lotus seed popcorn which is served with the buttery dip. Just wow. Light on stomach and best munching partner with some drinks is a must must try.2. Petite falafel pockets : 5/5I want to give this dish more than 5 or maybe more than 10. How can some1 be just so perfect in every aspect of this dish. Hats off to the chef. Crispy on the out and best taste and soft on the inside with some veggies, pita and hummus as sides . Best dish ever.3. Greek style chicken kebab : 5/5Again the kebab was very juicy and tasty. Just melted in the mouth accompanied with veggies,some coleslaw kind of dressing to add and hummus with peta. Again a must try.4. Grilled chicken steak: 5/5No doubt grilled chicken always tastes good and is loved by all. But the stuffed grilled chicken steak is the 1st i had here. Broccoli corn paste was stuffed inside these juicy chicken breasts. Accompanied by mashed potatoes & boiled veggies. Worth drooling, healthy and filling.5. All mocktails are really well crafted and tastes best. Do try any as per your liking of flavours6. Classic Brownie : 5/5Hot brownie with marshmallows , hazelnut mousse and crumbs.   An amazing restaurant with a spacious area and beautiful interior is the best place for foodies. The mocktails we had are guava delight, spicy watermelon mint, mango mule and orange punch. All these beverages were too good. In starters we ordered peri peri roasted chicken pizza, nimbu Kali miri chicken, jack Daniel prawns and cheesy cheese MMT. They all were not only mouthwatering but also eye-catching aesthetically. For desserts we had classic brownie and creme brule which were up to the perfection 🙂
