Oh, just the best croissants ever! The mushroom omelette is just delicious. One of the best places around. The food is very delicious, clean, and shows the passion and dedication behind its preparation.
This small cafe in bandra really has my heart.Loved the sandwiches they make and the amount of burrata they put in is commendable.Loved their presentation and dishes prepared of truffle. The mocktails are quite refreshing and tasty. The dessert (salted caramel) was a perfect end to the amazing meal we had here.Would surely visit again.
Yoga girl from Bangalore was in Bombay on work and I setup a rendezvous to meet her in Bandra so that I could collect from her a stash of jackfruit chips. I chose La Folie Lab because it’s highly rated, looks very fancy, and well it was another one of the myriad of restaurants in Bandra I’ve never been to.First and foremost, La Folie Lab is so limited in space when compared to restaurants in Bangalore. Granted real estate in Mumbai comes at a premium price but it would be wise of them to invest in an interior decorator who could revamp the space. The seating is predominantly wooden tables and chairs which is not very comfortable if your gluteus maximus is ageing. It’s like they don’t want you to get too comfortable. The decor really didn’t have anything for me to write home about. The menu is better- providing a limited fare of options to choose from but each offering on the menu if chosen wisely is unique. Yoga girl and I opted for the plates- where I had the market fish with couscous and she the prawns in laksa sauce with black rice. We started our conversations with lemonade which was a bit too sour so we watered them out.Service took about 20 minutes and for the record, La Folie Lab scores BIG when it comes to presentation. Presented on stoneware bowls, trays, and plates with Masterchef style plating, you’ll be eating out of those portions with glee. Portion size is good and the price is on the higher side when you’re paying for premium ingredients. My friend loved her rice plate and while my fish had an interesting coating of almonds, my only bone of contention were the pieces of cucumber in my couscous. They could have been shredded instead of cubed or rather shouldn’t have been there in the first place. We also decided to have dessert which was a blood orange and grape fruit tiered dessert that was so pretty, we both agreed it looked better than our own wedding cakes. It tasted pretty good too. The other one had a sweet fruit jam center whose name I can’t recall. It was a tad too sweet for my liking but it would have nailed the spot for any sweet tooth. Our meal for two came to about INR 2300 including service charges which works out to INR 1250 a head. Come here if you want a date to SPEND on you and you want a fancy meal. This makes for a good stopover to grab a cuppa but I’d prefer if they did something about the seating arrangement and upholstered the chairs with cushions.
Lafolie lab A small cozy cafe at bandra hill road. The place is very nice with and amazing ambience. A place across the street to hang with your friend over lot many things which are available here. Have visited this place many times. And can go many more times. Everytime I go I tend up trying something new. Smoothie bowl, waffles all day breakfast many more healthy bowls, croissants etc and the best part the desserts just can’t get over them. Go and try it out now.
Spent an entire afternoon at La Folie Lab and it was simply perfect. Service is great. We began with the Marigold Tea, which was really unique and soothing, followed it up with the Peri Peri Eggs Benedict (the best in this side of town) and completed our laidback meals here with Nuttela Waffles. Everything on the menu is great so dig in.Since it was the monsoons, we loved the outdoor seating area. We wanted to stay longer, so even explored coffees at the end — Highly recommend for a long chat sesh with friends.
Ideal place for enjoying a beautiful flavoursome dessert. This time we tried tiramisu and the tout chocolate dessert. Both had amazing presentations. And tasted great too. In coffee we tried latte with almond milk and French press. Also special mention for the cold vietanamese coffee. Definitely worth a visit.
Gourmet Bonbons •⠀⠀Handcrafted to perfection, these artfully decorated bonbons make an ideal gift. Each bonbon comes with a different outer chocolate and a unique inner filling – from Japanese togarashi spiced passion fruit to Hawaiian red salt caramel. Available in a box of 6, 9 and 18. ⠀⠀⠀I paired this pack of 9 bonbons with 2 of their bars- Salted Caramel Fudge & Pretzels, and the Nutty Rocher Praline. Made with 3D printed moulds, and covered in quirky prints, these bars are a treat to the eyes! ⠀⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Infinite Praline • ⠀⠀⠀⠀A chocolate praline cake with dark chocolate hazelnut mousse, and Nutella crunch. Ordered for someone who’s a big Nutella and ferrerocher lover and it was a great success! ⭐⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⠀⠀
