After being a fan of Pali Village Cafe, I dined at the newly opened Pali Thai ONLY to be utterly disappointed.Firstly, this is not a new venue, it’s simply one section inside Pali Bhavan. They position themselves as a fine dine, which it looked like too, but guess what, we had mosquitos hovering around our table. Coming to the food, we order a lot of dishes from the menu like the Herb Chicken Balls – very average, the mango salad – just mango pieces cut and served in a bowl, the portion size was a joke. They didn’t even get something as basic as the Pad Thai right. The only good thing from all the things we ordered was the Tom Yum Fettuccine, but as mentioned earlier, the portion sizes at Pali Thai are inversely proportional to the prices of the dishes! Finally! Yes finally good Thai food in Bandra!Finally! Again finally a place that limits its menu! I’m always suspicious to see a 10 pages menu because you know that means 75% of it won’t be fresh. Here you have such a limited menu that you know everything will be fresh and of top quality.And of top quality it is! Food tastes amazing! Anything we ordered was great.Only drawback is the steep pricing. But it’s Bandra, it’s looking fancy and it’s damn good!
