  masti misal, This name describes all the things. I visited this place previous weekend with my friends. We loved the food actually. We ordered masti misal pav/slice, masti kolhapuri misal slice / pav, vadodara spl shev usal pav, mataar usal pav, masti combo, little masti, masti canapes, taak, solkadhi, jamun shot, mastana shot, Piyush shot, kulfi shot &kharvas.All the misals were amazing.Kulfi shots stole the visit. Amazing food, I liked it very much.

  Being in Pune for quite a long time , the love for Misal hasn’t changed a bit.Had heard alot about it when it first started in Kothrud and now with few years down the line when my friends told me its finally in Baner, i really couldn’t afford to miss dropping by at this place!The ambience is quite nice and interesting even though there is less seating arrangements. Masti Misal offers a variety of misals, unlike other places in Pune which have one type. Punekars are huge foodies when it comes to misal pav. Spicy, non-spicy, medium-spicy, there is something for every misal lover here!So lets start with my Misal story shall we? So I started with their Masti Canapes and all I can say this is a must try over here.This was a quick bites fills with some mashed potatoes, yogurt flavored with some bit of spice chutney and topped with Sev. Then as suggested by the owner went ahead Masti Kolhapuri Misal which was spicy enough as the name suggests. It was served with 3 Pavs. If you are a huge fan of spices, then this is the best for you.Then the Masti Combo which was served with Dahibutti and Koshambir. The misal was perfect with crunchy farsan and usal well balance with spice and overall taste was too good.This one is highly recommended. The Mataar Usal and Vadodara Special Sev Usal Pav were something new in my list after ages.The Mataar Usal was slight spicy as well as unique and Vadodara Special Sev Usal Pav had thick shev and peas based misal topped with some spring onion and it was totally a game changer for me. The best one I had and would surely recommend to all!The Masti Misal was good enough and this would suit all age groups in term of the spice level. Also the entire meal ended with Jamun , Mastana, Piyush and Kulfi Shot. All of them were good and really its hard to differentiate.One thing to note over here is that the Misal is served with 3 pavs and accompaniment with onion, lemon piece and extra sample. So concluding, the staff over here were very courteous and the service was flawless. The price is very reasonable and one should definitely drop by with their friends and family.   Masti MisalMasti Misal started their operation around 6 years back with a vision to cater to family crowd, a place which is clean, hygienic and which serves food for all age groups. Masti Misal have opened their 2nd outlet in baner couple of weeks back just opp to the primerose mall. The ambiance of this outlet is pleasant and has a comfortable seating arrangement. They have a variety of misal and with this outlet they have also started serving sandwiches, salad and milkshakes under a sister concern brand eSSSetrra. They are also planning to add few more dishes in the menu.Kolhapuri Misal: Misal prepared with boiled potato base, pohe chiwda and some shev with a medium spicy curry was good in taste. The spice levels were perfect and the rassa/curry was nicely blended. #Highlyrecommended Masti Misal: For me this is a Misal for All age groups and would rarely disappoint anyone, prepared with farsan and medium spicy rassa/curry is a superb option. Spice levels can be customized as per individual preferences before placing the order. We opted for the normal spice level one and it was superbly done. #Highlyrecommended.Matar Usal: Green Peas done in a medium thick coriander and curry leaf based curry was superb in taste, it did gave a slight sweet hint because of the green peas and was perfect on spice levels. This is something unique and you won’t find it at most of the places that serve misal. #HighlyrecommendedVadodara Shev Usal: Thick Shev and Peas based misal topped with some spring onion was one of the best dishes which I have had. It had a spicy kick and was served along with their in house prepared Masala which was extremely Spciy (Zhatka) and it was impressive. #Musthave.Mexican Salad: A refreshing and slightly crunchy salad with bell peppers, kidney beans, onions and cherry tomatoes was done in a spicy sauce, it was extremely flavorful. I was really impressed with the sauce and it is #MusthaveCorn Paneer Capsicum Sandwich: A grilled sandwich with corn kernels, minced paneer and capsicum was good in taste, the stuffing was ample with light seasoning and it was well grilled, The bread was slightly crispy. Potato chips served along with it were perfect accompaniment. #HighlyrecommendedDouble Decker Sandwich: A 4 layered jumbo sandwich which is prepared with assorted veggies, Russian salad, paneer, bell pepper and with generous quantity of cheese in between all three layers was good in taste, it was topped with some grated processed cheese as well, it was also nicely done. It is very heavy and can serve 2 avg appetite people. #RecommendedLitchi & Sitafal(Custard Apple) Milkshake: Both Milkshakes were perfect on consistency level, while litchi was impressive sitafal milkshake failed to impress me as it had absolutely no traces of sitafal flavor. Litchi Milkshake is #HighlyrecommendedDahi Bhutti: Curd rice with light tempering of mustard seeds, curry leaves and topped with stuffed chillies is a perfect comfort food for many. Simple and Impressive dish. #Musthave.We also tried jamun shot and green apple shot which were superb in taste. #highlyrecommended. *Some Imp Point which I would like to highlight about Masti Misal*1. All misals are served with Koshimbir of Cucumber/Carrot/Onion.2. They serve 3 pav instead of two unlike most of the places.3. Huge variety of misal’s in terms of preparations and flavors which you will not find at most of the places in pune.4. Fresh ingredients.5. Quick service and open to feedback approach of the owners who take suggestions/feedback from every walk in customers.6. With a variety of options and option to customize spice level from Normal to High and Zhatka (Super Spicy) Masti misal caters to almost all age groups.Overall: The baner outlet setup is very neatly done and has a pleasant ambiance.   This place now opened in the premises of Food Court on Baner Road. Ambiance was casual nothing great.We tried following :Masti Zatka Misal (4/5)Masti Kolhapuri Misal (4.5/5)Jamun shots (5/5)Both Misal tasted good. Ingredients were fresh. Jamun shots are good one.Service is good. Cost is reasonable.Overall good place to have Misal.
