  Rating Implies 4.5*Wada Culture, BHS Road. #MaharashtrianCuisine#HomelyFood#ExcellentNonVeg Wada Culture is a Maharashtrain Cuisine specialty restaurant serving veg and non veg preparations. The restaurant is located on the Road to Balewadi High street and is easy to locate. The menu is quite extensive with options in a la carte as well as thalis. They also serve few North Indian a la carte dishes. The ambiance of this place is pleasant. Veg Lazeez: Finely chopped assorted vegetables done in a thick gravy was good in taste, it was medium spicy and was mild on flavors. #Recommended. Chicken Lazeez: Boneless chicken pieces done in a medium thick gravy was superb in taste. The masala was nicely blended, the chicken was cooked well and the gravy was rich and creamy in taste. #Highlyrecommended. Solkadhi: It was good in taste with a nice ginger-garlic punch and rightly sour, however it was served too cold. #Recommended.Maaswadi: The Maaswadi had a thick besan coating and the stuffing was majorly dominated by coconut flavour. It was garnished with coconut powder which didn’t appeal me. Feedback was shared with the management. #Disappointed Prawns & Surmai Fry: Rawa Coated Prawns and Surmai Fry were done in the same marination. It was good in taste. Surmai and Prawns were fresh. Spl Gavran Chicken Thali. [Rs 420]:The Thali consists of Chicken Curry, Chicken Fry, Egg Masala, Pandhara Rassa, Chapati/ Bhakari/ Solkadhi/ Aalni Soup/Rice. The chicken curry was superb in taste and chicken fry was nicely done with well grinded smooth and thick coconut based masala. Egg masala was a clear winner, it was exceptional in taste with burst of flavors, the pandhara rassa didn’t impress me as it was very mild on flavors. Alni Soup prepared from chicken stock was good in taste but for me it was slightly watery. Apart from Pandhara rassa all the preparations were worthy. #Highlyrecommended. Spl Mutton Thali [RS 420]: The thali had Mutton Curry, Mutton Fry, Mutton Kheema, Egg Masala, Pandhara Rassa, Chapati/Bhakari, Solkadhi, Rice. The mutton rassa/curry was exceptional in taste, the curry was slightly thin in consistency and was a bit spicy , mutton fry was outstanding with thick masala which had a spicy aftertaste, the mutton kheema was also beautifully, the meat was well minced with nice punch of spices, undoubtedly one of the best which I had. The meat was cooked to perfection #Musthave Veg Thali [Rs 280]: Rassa Bhaji, Sukki Bhaji, Pithla Wati, Chapati/Bhakari, Dal, Khichadi/Plain Rice/, Sweet, Taak (Buttermilk), Papad. Maaswadi Rassa which didn’t impress me, it was lacking flavors and was very thick in consistency, the maaswadi also didn’t impress me and had a dominating coconut flavor, Bharlele Wangi Masala, Pithla, Methi Bhaji, Dal Portion, Taak and Shrikhand in sweets, all preparations were nicely done and were truly delicious. Apart from Maaswadi the veg thali is #HighlyRecommended Aalni Rice: Indrayani rice prepared in meat stock was superb in taste and is a #Musthave Overall: Most of the dishes that we had were superb especially the non veg preparations and I was really impressed with the in house prepared masalas used at Wada culture. I am definitely going back again for the Mutton Thali. I would suggest to try the Thalis rather than the a la carte menu as it covers many dishes, the Thali is very reasonable as well.Location: Wada Culture, Baner – Balewadi Road, Next to My World, Baner, Pune.
