Delicious starters to begin with. We had1. Bombil koliwada- crispy and crunchy Bombay ducks. The coating was chatpata. Loved the overall taste. Amazingly delicious. Highly recommended.2.Chicken lasooni kebab- this was a tasty kebab dish. The lassoni flavour and smoked tandoor taste nailed the kebab for me.3.Chicken sholey kebab- the kebabs were coated with egg white. Gave it a soft texture. Tasted good.4. Murgh mussalam- ample quantity of the curry. The taste was average. I have tasted really good murgh musallam and this one was not a competition.5. Cheese garlic naan- soft naan. Tasty on its own.6. Patiala lassi- this was a downer. C’mon guys lassi has to be nice thick and creamy. This one was very sweet and dilute.7. Gulabjamun- they were good.Apart from food, the ambience is insta worthy. Colorful restaurant, really cheers ur mood. Love the details in the decor.great job guys. Kudos!!
So with 2019 coming to an end ,thought why not rejoice myself with the flavors of some good food. So dropped by this newbie in Baner one fine weekday for lunch and honestly this place is quite interesting and the interiors, once you enter, can be addictive. The decor is as desi as it gets with comfortable seating arrangements, vibrant lightning and colorful drapes. The menu is quite interesting and so here is a glimpse of what I had ordered:To cool off all the spices from the heavy dishes, their Solkadhi was the best and quite different from the ones I had tried in recent times. So I actually started with their Lemon Coriander Veg and Prawns soup.Well both the soup was simple and taste-wise decent enough. Then moving over to the starters had Paneer Lapeta which was full of flavors and juicy.Really loved the concept! The Chicken Poti was something different and tasty.Sought of balls with delicious filling of stuffed chicken.Would recommend this! From the seafood starter the presentation for both Crab and Fish Tawa was on point!Loved the crab , it had fragrant medley of spices and aromatics. The fish could have been still better, did not seem fresh.Prawns Butter Garlic had an amazing flavor combination of garlic and butter, it was simple and delicious! Then from the Veg starters Mushroom Green Sauce was the best one and liked by all!The Paneer Chilli was made with a flavorful spicy sauce. The paneer pieces could have been more soft even though the taste was decent enough. From the main course, so many options to choose from!but then we went ahead with Paneer Lababdar, Special Chicken Haveli Ki Tang, Manglorian Surmai Curry, Butter Chicken, Veg Hydrebadi and Biriyani. The Special Haveli Ki Tang and Butter Chicken tasted quite well with Wade and Amboli roti. The main course was delicious and the quantity was good enough. The Manglorian Surmai Curry tasted good when paired with dosa. The entire meal ended on a sweet note with their hot Gulab Jamun and Gajar Halwa. Both the taste were decent enough! So concluding, the staff over here were very courteous and the service was quite good. Overall, the place justifies your experience and is a great junction to come with your friends as well as family and spend time over some good food.Happy Eating!Follow @yummydelightsdiary on Instagram
Ya Basa – Dhaba Style Casual Dining Place with Colorful Ambience serving Maharastrian , North IndiaN , Chinese Cuisine Food with having speciality in Seafood Visited this place last week as they are were having Sea food festival Going on.Must try – 1. Ole Bombil Koliwada , 2. Crab Tawa, 3. King Prawns Tandoor. 4. Butter Chicken .Started with their savory ‘ Prawns and Corriender Soup ‘ which was indeed tasty . In appetizer i tried their1. Surmai in Green Sauce – Surmai ( Fish ) fried and tossed in Green Sauce, was soft and with no bones and definitely a good option in appetizer.2. Ole Bombil Koliwada – Completely enjoyed this dish. So flavourful and succulent . #musttry3. Crab Tawa- I told them I’m going to have Crab for the first time so they served me Boneless Crab cooked in Indian Spices on Tawa . Super delicious tangy dish is definitely a must try.4. King Prawns Tandoor – Dish with 6 King size Prawns cooked in Tandoor.5.Malvani Promfret Tawa – Promfret ( Fish) cooked on Tawa with Malvani in-house sauce . Personally this dish was okayish for me.In Mains tried their ;6. Maratha Clamp Curry – I had this only in goa.. never found it in any restaurants in Pune. Gravy was appetizing , flavourful but the Clamps ( shellfish) had less stuffing in it.7. Butter Chicken – I usually avoid butter chicken at places because it is mostly too sweet for me. But the Butter Chicken here was soo delicious and amazing. Loved it.Ended my meal with Trending dessert of thus Season ‘ Gajar ka Halwa’ which was cooked in Desi ghee .Overall Loved the place , the vibe , Quality & Quantity of food and the service. Whenever you’re in Baner must visit this place.Good Going guysCheers
Newly opened restaurant on baner road. The ambience is full of vibrant colors beautifully decorated. The food they serve is extensive. Was waiting for it to open for quite a few days. Though they are a dhaba theamed restaurant they have amazing seafood options as well.We tried lobster for the very first time and it was amazing. Tried prawns lemon corriender soup, Butter chicken & surmain malvani curry, chapati, solkadi and lastly biryani. Well i must say every dish was upto the mark. Not many places in baner that serve this much variety a must go place. Will keep going .Neha Rahane
