After going through the good reviews on Zamato of The Kitchen & Bar, ventured into Artists village to catch up with my friend over dinner at The Kitchen & Bar on Saturday 22nd June 2019.Understand the place is being managed by new mangalorean team since last few months.The ambiance and size of the restaurant is average and mostly patronised by locals. Seating and the table meant for 4 persons in AC section is not comfortable. Comfort is compromised in a bid to create more seats.Only advantage is food and drinks are reasonably priced and we can call the place as pocket friendly.So all three departments viz ambience, food and service gets 3 stars each out of 5 as sky is the limit in hotel industry.
Decent n simple ambience, courteous staff, super budget friendly, food is really good n on time delivery, best use of take away kitchen, loved the place as its around artistic village, calm n quiet surrounding
Nice place to hang out with friends, pocket friendly, just need to improve their oil quality. As a foodie I can immediately feel the wrong in the oil they are using while deep frying. Rest all good. Music also lively.

The Kitchen & Bar offers a mixed menu. We ordered three different starters and four different main course followed by two deserts. Each dish was amazing in its own way. They table for four is just enough for two. The others have to hang on by the skin of the teeth. But definitely worth more than one visit.
Ordered mutton in main course and it was amazing. The whole dish was cooked perfectly. First time I had actually tried mutton from a hotel instead of home.
