Ordered a chana masala and aloo paratha. The restaurant called n said will send aloo matar instead. The food was not at all up to the mark. The gravy had a very little salt. There was no taste at all. The paratha had matar added to it. Who adds matar to a aloo paratha ?! The stuffing in the paratha had excessive turmeric to it. Plz check the pic.
Sai Guru in thane is a humble and small restaurant which serves some homely comfort food. Each dish we tried had a distinctive flavour. Upon speaking to the owner we stumbled upon the fact that their products are sourced directly from the farms. Fresh products not only make the food taste better but are an added bonus when it comes to one’s health! We tried the following:Pomfret tandoori: The fish was well cooked and came right off the bone easily. The fish was marinated in a tandoori masala which went well with the pomfret.Schezwan Chicken lollipop: Who doesn’t like juicy chicken drumsticks! The chicken was tossed in semi gravy which made the taste even better.Satay Chicken: Boneless Chicken cooked in a peanut based sauce and some schezwan sauce to add that Indian-Chinese taste. This dish had a good portion size.Chicken Matka Biryani: The Biryani was not too pungent and was well prepared. What we liked was that it was served with a raita!It’s definitely a pocket friendly restaurant worth visiting!
Excellent service and delicious food, they don’t make you feel as a customer, they make you feel as their guests. Quantity and quality of the food is very good. Highly recommended restaurant in Thane. Kudos to Saiguru team for putting up such a wonderful show.
One of the best places to have a nice and cozy meal. Great variety to choose from. The service is good and the owner Mr. Tanmay Gole is a warm and kind hearted person who looks after all his guests and interacts with them to make sure they had a great experience.
One of the best restaurant in Thane city with a mouth watering taste and quality standard. Highly recommended to try this place out so that you won’t regret about great cusine what Saiguru Family restaurant offers. My best wishes are with future entrepreneur Mr Tanmay Gole Saheb who has vast experience from Germany , Canada and many other countries where he learned his skills from well known restaurants such as IHOP and Guru Fine Indian Cusine. All the best for a great success in hospitality industry.
