Food quality was good..specially chicken tandoori
Orders Surmai Thali from Aswad Gomantak. Thali was awesome!!! It’s full meal with option of Chapati, bhakri or chicken vada. Surmai was fresh and piece for big in size. Curry was also good. It takes like eating at home. Vada was very tasty, reminds me mothers cooking taste. If you craving for dish thali.. Order from Aswad Gomantak.
Felt like we were in Konkan!What an amazing food experience! I was craving seafood, that too authentic Konkani preparations and I landed in the perfect place. The thali was absolutely lipsmackingly delicious and I was just transported to Konkan through the amazing and authentic taste. This is a new joint and I can’t wait to get everyone I know to taste their food.
Being seafood lovers and hearing that kothrud had good restaurants, we searched for this restaurant. Very disappointed. Peices or portions too small for the rate. Not marinaded properly. No onion, lime. Service also not good. Not value for money.
Not good for fish – not fresh fish – nothing gomantak hereI ordered 2 dishes – Pophret goan curry handi and Banda rimzim fry (goan).Both dishes were hopeless. Goan curry was made with tomato as base. Typically goan curry is made with coconut + tamarind.Pomphret head and tail was given – and it costs Rs 450.Bangada was chewy – it was not fresh – it wasnt stale either – but a fresh bangada tastes much better and feel is different.Bangada was Rs 220
