I used to love this place for golabhat, untill they served me bhat (rice) without gola(made of masala and besan) with an explanation that they don’t have it now. So basically they served me rice tadka.
Nagpur to pune.. if you love garam masala dish you are welcome to saoji varhadi thaat. Good place for office, retirement or birthday party. Restaurant is place outside of pune so you can enjoy your time with good quality of food. Egg curry and masala chicken is fantastic
As being from Vidarbha and nagpur.. Saoji isour areas speciality and me and my wife were always searching here at pune for saoji food, there are very few saoji restaurants here and hardly provide the authentic saoji food, we came across this place and as the name they have given that is saoji varhadi that.. We thought it should be the actual saoji.. So just thought to go there on a weekend with some of my friends who wanted eat saoji food as they were from different region of Maharashtra and they wanted have saoji vidarbha special as they heard lot of time whenever they came across Vidarbha people, so went there and ordered one half saoji chicken handi and one egg curry, we were waiting when it comes and when willstart to eat ourvery own yummy saoji.. And then the order came.. After tasting and looking at the food.. We got shocked completely. Its completely nothing like saoji.. Really very disappointed.. No saoji taste and not even looking like saoji.. Really disappointed.. The owner itself cook and take order and deliver it.. Really I suggest to its owner try to find the realll saoji Cook and make actual saoji.. Otherwise its not worth to come here and eat saoji..
Wish I could give less thn 1 rating! Ordered saoji chicken masala, wat we got was a handi with 5 bones floating in thin gravy. The taste was ok but there was hardly any chicken into it.. (Common owners, chicken aint soo costly u cudnt afford to put few more!) Total damage RS. 500 for 5 bones, 2 bhakri and 1 jeera rice! Had a chance to visit their kitchen, it was found soo dirty and the unhygienic, I wud not allow my dogs to eat there ever! To top this up, they dont accept cards! Wow! Please Avoid!!!!
