I had been to this place couple of months ago and their quality and taste was very nice. Had also listened from friends that the food is good and just homely. Last week me and my wife had been there for dinner and things are totally different. We ordered fish thali having pomfret and the price mentioned on their daily board (which they put up outside) was Rs 300 and then the owner said pomfret thali will cost Rs 350 since the fish size is big. We said ok. I ordered shev bhaji and bhakri. Thali shown in the pictures above is completely different than what you get, It had one small size pomfret, two chapatis, one gravy and one small bowl of sukat bombil and a small papad. Salad was not there and we had to ask them twice thrice for onions and lemon. Shev bhaji costing Rs 80 was having watery gravy and very less in quantity. We ignored it and thought the taste might be good so started eating it. The chapatis in the fish thali was cold and same was with bhakri. We asked them to give us hot chapati and bhakri and they took it back and reheated it and served it back. In fact, they are making bhakris only once in the morning because after reheating it was hard and tasteless. The shev bhaji was ok in taste. The fish was burnt on the bottom side and had too much salt in the masala coating. There were two fish pieces in the gravy which were not looking like pomfret since they were black in colour. We even asked the owner about it and she said no it is pomfret. Shev bhaji was ok but very less in quantity. The sukat was tasteless. Fish gravy was ok. After that we ordered more chapati and bhakri which were also cold and had to ask them to reheat it. We had to ask them again for some more onions and lemon pieces since they had initially give only two pieces. Later on we again asked them for rice for fish thali and extra gravy for it which again took time. I ordered egg biryani which costed Rs 150 and was surprised to see it, They had used boiled rice for it and the grain was very thick. It had some red and yellow colour added to it and when I served it, it had a lot of boiled watery onion in the bottom which had turned brown and chokolaty in colour as if mixed with soya sos. It had only one egg in it. We had to separate the rice from a bowl full of onion to eat it. It was very tasteless and somehow I felt the onion was having a bad odour and was spoilt. We left it. Meanwhile the owner aunty comes and asks how’s everything. We told her about the thali and biryani to which she gave a broad smile and said you should’ve returned it after tasting. The thing is even if you return it after tasting, they will serve you the same thing. I really regret ordering egg biryani here. So if you happen to visit this place, taste the food it by having a spoonful so that you can ask them to change it. The owner is a very soft and sweet speaking lady however that is of no use. They need to improve the quality and taste. The prices are also same as compared to other hotels in the vicinity so nothing special as such.

Last Sunday we visited.Outside hotel a today’s menu dish names were written . We saw crab soup. Immediately after settling we ordered crab soup. We were expecting soup with some crab meat inside but it was plain curry type soup. The taste was good like home made. But it is not soup like chinese soup it’s curry only. We ordered crab masala for main course. Owner has asked waiter to give some sample to taste once it’s ready, so thst if any alteration is there it can be done. This was good gesture. Finally we served with crab masala. It was tasting like home made food. Crabs were perfectly cooked, so moist that few pieces i chewed and swallowed. Chapati were soft n freshly cooked. Rice was bit disappointing.Overall food taste was niceOwner is friendly n talkative. He offered some chocolate to my daughter.Ambience:3Taste:4Value for money:4Service:5Next time going to try some fry items and thali
