One of the best place for homely food serving for so many years. If u want simple yet tasty and quality food which wont burn ur pocket and most importantly ur wont burn ur stomach, this is the right place. Let anything change in Chinchwad but not this place. -A satisfied customer since childhood .
Making prudent choices while eating out will surely double the delight of relishing on home like motherly cooked food.A Suhas Dining hall at Chapekar chowk Chinchwad Pune, is perfect destination for authentic Maharashtrian meals especially Puneri Thalis. The platter is loaded with viands like chapatis, two vegetables, rice, dal, papad and salads. Such a food venture is gastronomical delight for foodies like me.Don’t miss to indulge in tryst with Suhas Dining hall..
Situated in the heart of chaphekar Chowk this eatery is pretty old. They serve only one dish veg thali. If you are looking for some homely food or tired of cooking at home then this is the perfect place for you. They serve 2 sabjis and daal along with rice and koshimbir. Pickle and chatney are standard sides.Look for lip smakin kadhi if you visit on Sunday.Taste is very suttle and pleasant specially when you are tired of spicy food.Overall- extremely VFM. Staff is polite and serve piping hot food promptly. Definitely looking to visit again.
Reasonably priced authentic Maharashtrian Food (Thali). I recommeneded my friends from Rajasthan and they loved the food and service as well. Iam visiting this restaurant since last 3 years only, but have recommended it to many.
Clean, Simple & Tasty Maharashtrian Thali. Have been visiting this Dining Hall for past many years. Price is fair and quality is always excellent 🙂
Went here on a Sunday afternoon. This is a small place hidden in the hustle bustle of Chaphekhar chowk.Entering the building which has this place is like going back in time, a nondescript building with paint peeling off its walls, a narrow staircase to go up, a small simple place with almost no decor, it felt like going back 20 years ago, to 1998. I can say with a fair degree of confidence that little must have changed about this place and its surroundings in the last twentry years. The food is a traditional Maharashtrian meal with a dry potato sabji, vatana (dried peas) curry, aamti (a watery tadka daal, but calling it anything other than aamti would be committing blasphemy), a kadhi, kakadi koshimbir (cucumber salad), papad, and white rice. The meal is simple, not at all spicy, but tasty at the same time. This is the meal Marathi families have on festivals, and not all people can appreciate its simplicity. But to me, this is the best meal I can possibly have. The satisfaction I had after the meal was divine. It appeared as if me and my friend were the only ‘young’ people in there, as if the simple Marathi meal has gone out of fashion and doesn’t appeal to the Marathi youth. But for us, this meal was going back in time, to our childhood days. Interestingly enough, they have a board asking patrons to switch off their mobile phones, as if encouraging conversations over meals, rather than burying one’s head in their phones. Classic! The service is a little slow and the waiters not quite attentive, but hey, its 1998, and who cares about a little wait, as long as the food is tasty and it tastes the same as 20 years ago!For us, it was a trip down the memory lane and we thoroughly enjoyed it, both the meal and the experice, but not everyone might enjoy it as much as we did, still highly recommended!
Nice Marathi food..Taste is awesome.Food is worth for money u pay.need to add sweet/desert in thali .So it could be better.Need some variation in food.but still one of better place to have good Maharashtrian food
