Not worth the hype. Cremé paste wasn’t authentic. As soon as you enter the place, your expectations will rise so high but visit this place only for site seeing not for dining. Bell pepper cheese sandwich had no cheese and it tasted very average. Only the Ambience of the place is good, nothing else. And the price is too high for the quantity served.
A beautiful cafe that’s operated by women only. I love how the place and food gives such a homely vibe. They have two dogs out there who are such sweethearts. They don’t bother you at all while eating. The two days that i was in Alibaug, ended up having one meal here each day. Everything on the menu was super yummy! Loved the dry fish fry the most. That was the best. They made some good Thalipeet as well. Like I said everything on the menu was super yummy!!! I wouldn’t mind driving back there just to have another meal.
This place has been my haven for years! Bohemyan Blue is like an amalgamation of sustainable living, local produce and breathtaking ambience. The decor adds to the serene vibe and it is almost addicting. If you’re from Bombay, looking to disappear from the hustle and bustle of this city to enjoy the important things in life, this is your place. The cafe is run by the local girls of Alibaug who always add a touch of their culture to the food, it is a place to relax and take in all the beauty nature has to offer, they are very open about their slow kitchen menu as they believe in cooking from scratch. This place makes you fall in love with life again. The food is delicious and each dish has a Bohemyan special touch. They also have a luxury tent stay at the back which is even prettier (if that’s even possible) Over the years I’ve visited this place multiple times, I’ve even spent my hard times here. It’s my runaway spot and if you’re a nature lover like me? You’re going to fall in love with this little cafe, it’s people and everything they have to offer❤️
What a place !!! Everything about this place is casual in a nice way , the food , the ambience , the staff , the owner !!! The taste is authentic so a nice place to relax , chill & eat !!!
Going to Alibaug for a week means researching places to eat beforehand.Came across this place and saved it in bookmarks. It’s easily accessible with Google Maps and they have ample parking space for 2 wheelers as well as 4 wheelers.A very happy place, Bohemyan Blue. It’s run solely by ladies. The owner is a lady and the employees are ladies of Alibaug City which is the reason that the place shuts down everyday by 7pm.A very rustic, bohemian vibe, hippy vibe, with sewing machine tables turned to dining tables, cute different types of chairs and sofas. They even have a hammock to relax. We visited just before closing time, couldn’t get much pictures too.We ordered the Falafel Plattter which came with 4 falafel tikkis, pita bread, garlic bread, hummus, labneh, moutabbel and a sweet onion jam.Absolutely delicious. The quantity justifies the price they charge. Me, my mom and my dad finished the whole thing and were full.We also got the Indian Chai with Ginger and Lemongrass which we all loved. They serve it royally in a kettle and sugar on the side. It was such a fun time I spent here.Coming back for sure. They also have a Hotel on the backside which I think has tents for rooms. Will chck it out.Keep it up Ladies.. You Rock.. !!!
Hidden little gem on the alibaug beach road! Since the Malwa jetty was closed, we were looking for a cafe to chill out at and found it! The reviews are mixed , but we found it to be really good! The ambience is nice, soft and relaxed. Music is good too. There is no AC but there are fans and coolers and lot of plants so we didn’t feel hot. The service is amazing as well- the entire staff is female and really sweet and polite. Coming to the food – we ordered fish fry, grilled chicken and mango shake. Everything was good – we specially liked the fish fry. The food is really fresh, made on order and with high quality ingredients. Everything is served with a small salad, bread/ roti and some chakna like papad. We really enjoyed the overall experience. However, the spices and flavour were mild – so if you are looking for something punchy and strong, this isn’t the right place or maybe you can ask themTo customise ? The food came quickly, but it wasn’t crowded. Might get slow during rush time.
