Went here with friends to try this south indian place after looking at the reviews. The place is really nice along plus the staff is really courteous. We tried prawns starters, fish fingers, potato fries, chicken sukkha, Sri Lankan lollipops, chicken chettinad along with some paratha/appams and orange/watermelon+basil mocktails. I really liked the prawns starters which I cannot recall at this point of time along with chicken sukkha. Unfortunately, after initial two dishes everything else seemed similar and nothing stood out as much. Mocktails were really nice. I wanted to give this place 3.5 stars but since I do not have that option, I’m giving it 4. Visit this place for fish delicacies.
South Indian seafood? A relatively unheard of cuisine here in Mumbai. I have also checked out their Mahim outlet.I tried:Mutton Ajadina- okayish, nice pieces of muttonPayyoli chicken fry- this was a little gravy-ish and more importantly had bone splinters in it(preparation is like that)Hot butter red devilled prawns- the name itself is epic!!Beans foogath- try thisPackaging: the prawns were leaking (see pic)Pricing: expensive without the discount
Loved the food and the staff here. We started with chilli coriander prawns with neer dosa. The prawns were really spicy but really so good that we could not stop eating. For mains we went for the Kurdapura chicken and neer dosa and Bisi Belle Bath. The chicken was nice and the rice was more Kerala rather than Tamil Nadu style ( my mom’s main critique). We finished the meal with filter coffee. Overall great food and drinks we went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was relatively quiet. The staff was lovely especially Shivraj who was great. Great food would love to visit again.
