Dosa Makhanwala is an outlet at the Prozone mall. It serves the best south Indian cuisine in the mall. They have a live tawa counter where we can see how the chef prepares our dosa.Their speciality is dosa and uttappa. I usually orderSada dosa, Masala Dosa, cut dosa. When I order the Masala dosa, I like the masala served separately. And the staff remembers my order whenever I visit this place. That makes me happy! You must visit this place if you are looking for fresh and delicious snacks
The South Indian isn’t authentic but is standard. Food is good. Prefer Dosas over their idlis. Sambar is very much Maharashtrian, doesn’t taste south Indian at all. 3.0 for their Dosas alone. Provide instructions well or else expect something weird.
Had mysore masala dosa. It was good in taste. Even chutney and sambar too were good. What they should look into for improvement is serving part. Chutney was served into a tiny cup in which tea is served generally. Only the difference was, this cup is made up of thick paper. Mysore dosa came into big cut pieces. It was really hard to dip such big piece of dosa into that tiny cup. Chutney was not suffice.
Although they have lost the authenticity of South Indian food, the dosas are good. They try adding new flavours to the dosas. The sambar and chutney forming condiments can really be improved though.
