A small eatery, all veg. Simple menu, nothing big or fancy. We ordered delivery of aalu paranthaas and veg raita and much opposite to our assumptions, the paranthaas were actually fully punjabi style aalu paranthaas.. Stuffed wholly and quite reasonable at the price. The quantity of veg raita was sufficient for two people. Overall, the food was good though they did forget the order at first so as per service 5/10, food 8/10. It’s an economical option for travelers staying nearby.
When the first time i ordered i did not read thereviews so i ordered a panner makhanwala and approx7 chapatis i loved it the first time but when i read the reviews i was shocked as if i did not expect much from this hotel bcoz of the cheaper rates , so now i do not order anything else except that dish,also i once ordered some other vegetable with the same amount of chapati,i but i did not like sit so now i only rarely eat only that one dish
Ordered veg thali for rs 70. Didn’t expect too much, but unfortunately it turned out much worse. One of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time.. Stale rock hard chapatis, weird concoction of aloo masala sabzi, two dals one watery, curd was sour. Sweet was not good either.. Big big thumbs down. Not ordering from here again unless big changes are made
Thumbs down..! I don’t know why the hell this eatery still exists. Ridiculous, I must say.!A thali @ 70 in South Bombay is certainly gonna grab eyeballs and maybe this is why we headed to this place. Well I didn’t expect a lavish, royal lunch but the least I expected was a fresh and hygienic meal. Stale and unpalatable vegetables, unsavoury blend of spices in Dal, stale steamed rice. Utterly distasteful!The seating place was not any different. Blackened floor, dirty walls and ceiling, filthy tables. The server didn’t serve us cool water even when it was available with him. And to my absolute dismay, one of the server spilled a cup of hot tea over one of the visitors. Need to learn some basic etiquette.The only saving grace could have been the hot chapatis, otherwise a very very forgettable meal.
