Have been eating their cake since I was a child. It’s been 30 odd years since we order this cake regularly. Order the cake often even when there is no occasion. Over the years, the quality has really deteriorated. The cake is very very dry. Almost bread like. Light brown color, no real chocolate flavor. Hardly any cocoa powder. Probably Just brown caramel color. The layering and sandwiching of the icing has also been reduced considerably. Not the same anymore. Since it is totally run by staff, don’t think any quality checks are in place! A real disappointment.

In recent years they have opened their branch in Sonawala Building 7C ground floor and I still like their cakes, which done the same way from years. They have both eggless and with egg cakes. You need to preorder most of the cakes though some are available when you walk in too.
I have been having this cake since years!! The cakes here are extremely creamy, soft and super tasty! It’s a must visit place. They best part is that they do not compromise on their quality. It’s also the best for gifting.
The best cake in Mumbai. I have been having these cakes for years and its like a tradition to have their cake on any birthday in my family. Their basic chocolate cake is all that they serve and the taste is the same since years. Hats off to them!
All my birthdays as far as i can remember always had goriwala cake. the quality and standard has been maintained.. the cake is unique and melts in the mouth. best ever chocolate cake.
Best Cakes in town..PERIOD!! Legendary unique taste melts in your mouth. Have maintained their quality and goodness for over 40 years. Also, try their walnut crunch dry cake. It’s yum.
