Lazy Sunday, coupled with heavy rains and festivities round the corner. Calls in for home delivery. Had heard a lot about Spice Opera which is backed by the Shiv Krishna management and credible background. So high expectations are quite obvious. Packaging was neat, leak proof. Food stayed quite warm, timely delivery of food. Quantity of food is more than sufficient. Value for money I must say. Talking about what all we had ordered from here -Couple of Starters – Chilly Cheese Kebab and Pizza Papdi Bites. Both were yum, Chilly Cheese Kebab on the spicy side. We were given mint chutney along with it. Spice lovers would just adore this place. Very tasty. Pizza Papdi Bites was a very unique combination, olives, cottage cheese, cheese toppings on a puri base. You can feel a nice mix of both taste together. Those open for experimentation can try this. From the mains, we tried the Pav Bhaji, Triple Schezwan Fried Rice and Dilli Chole with Amritsari Kulcha. Again very little complain besides the spice levels which were on the higher side, but absolutely full of taste. Shiv Krishna and Spice Opera are known for their Pav Bhaji so its their signature dish, nothing much to comment on this, besides ordering eating and enjoying it. Fried Rice is served separately with its gravy. One can get the taste of Desi Chinese served by street vendors. So desi chinese lovers go for this, you also have the paneer chilly gravy option to go with the fried rice. Amritsari Kulcha is rich with stuffings and kulcha chole from Spice Opera can give a run to the famous Kulcha Chole of Delhi. Spice Opera has a very diverse menu which can appeal to all the members within the family. Last but not least tried the Choco Lava Cake. I had heard a lot about the Blueberry Cheesecake, however it wasn’t available on that day. Believe their desserts are outsourced. Cake was bursting of chocolate, so a treat and perfect way to end a meal. Very little to complain about toning the spice level down, but loads to compliment about the food from Spice Opera. Wishing the restaurant all the luck in future. Please note the spice level preference may differ from person to person, so the reduction in spice is a personal opinion.Jatin Shah
