102nd Restaurant to be rated a complete 5on5 by me.Sri Krishna is located on the main Nana Chowk and it is easy to locate. The restaurant is decent in size with ground and upper seating section available. The ambiance is simple and they have made it look vintage and rustic by using a lot of wooden elements. The seatings are comfortable and I loved the overall feel of the restaurant. They specialise in South Indian cuisine and they also serve North Indian & Chinese food as well. Being a vegetarian only place the options in the menu are outstanding as they are serving a lot of dishes here. Prices are not too high and the quantity served is good.I went here for dinner and the kitchen service was on time and the table service by Ruby was perfect as she was attentive. What We Had -Babycorn Uruval -Outstanding dish made with mushrooms, babycorn and paneer batter fried with malgapudi spice powder. It looked spicy but tasted delicious as the flavours were spot on as the spices was not overpowering.Butter Ragi Dosa -Looked huge and tasted great. This is better than the rice base dosa and the butter touch was perfect. The sambar and coconut chutney served along tasted fine.Crispy Masala Dal Vada -One of the best dal vada as the crispiness was amazing and the batter had saunf and chillies which just went well.Paniyaram -Rava vadas with dal, onion and chillies tasted nice. It wasn’t oily and the was served hot hence loved eating this.Idiyappam Stew -Mix vegetable stew with little coconut milk in it served with rice vermicelli noodles tasted outstanding. Loved the light flavours and taste wise it was amazing.DESSERTS~Pan Ice Cream.Raj Bhog Ice Cream. They make all the ice creams in-house and both were great.BEVERAGES~Aam Panna.Panakkam.Both the drinks were refreshing and tasted good.So the meal at Sri Krishna was perfect as loved the food, the service was excellent and the ambiance is also nicely done. Therefore do visit this place.
Sri Krishna located right in the heart of the city around 400m from iconic Queen’s Necklace is an absolute delight for food lovers . We visited the restaurant in early hours of the day for grabbing some quick breakfast and came across their amazing unlimited breakfast menu for Rs.150 each. We were served South Indian delicacies with options ranging from Shira , Upma , Uttapa , Dosa , Coconut Shevaya and offcourse how can we miss Filter coffee and tea ! It was indeed a value for money . The food quality was absolutely awesome and staff was welcoming and polite . Ambience was totally praiseworthy . We rate the restaurant 5/5 as it fulfills all the parameters for a brilliant restaurant.

This place is located at 5 mins walking distance from Grant Road station. This is very old and famous place for South Indian cuisines. There is a door keeper in South Indian attire who welcomes you in the restaurant. This first glimpse of his makes you feel like you have entered in authentic South Indian restaurant. The ambiance inside is very nice simple and sober with all wooden furniture. There are 3 more rooms inside the restaurant. 2 family rooms at upper floor which can accommodate approx 20-25 people at a time in each room. Also one big room at ground level inside when there is lot of crowd. Staff is also helpful to guide us through the menu.We ordered : Panakkam : Traditional South Indian beverage made of jaggery, water, cardamom, dry ginger powder and pich of pepper. (5/5) Virgin Pinacolada : Usual Pinacolada made of coconut cream and pineapple juice (5/5) Maddur wada : Crispy deep fried patties made from onion, rava, flour and south spices. Very mild spice. (3/5) Manglore bun: Soft and fluffy Puri made out of flour and banana very mildly sweet. (4/5) Gole bhaje : Golden fried supper fluffy bhaje made out of floor, coconut and mild spice..fluffiest bhaji ever had.(5/5) Baby corn Uruval : Crispy Baby corn coated with browned onion and cashews seasoned with curry leaves and mangalorean spices. Very tasty and medium spiced.(5/5) Crispy Masala Vadai : Hot favorites masala vada made of chana dal and blended in South apices, crisp outside and soft inside.. mild spicy (4/5) Pizza Uttapam : Italian Indo fusion Uttapam with onion, bell pepper, tomato pizza sauce and cheese. Best dish with ever had with Uttapam. (Recommend 5/5) Mashroom ghee rost with Malabar parotta and rice idiyappam : Roasted mashroom with Tangy mild spiced semi dry gravy with home made ghee.(4.5/5)Hydrabadi Phirni : Authentic Phirni with touch of kevda and rose. Extremely well made. (5/5) Recommend.Entire range of food are very mild spiced and less salt. As we love spicy and intense flavoured food so we felt it little bland but yet taste was good. So for the people who love less spicy and mild range food they will surely love it.Taste : 4/5Ambiance : 5/5Service : 5/5 (very quick)Value for money : 4.5/5
