Date : 7-Dec-2019 at 8 PMHad picked this place after browsing through options, which were convenient to the guests who were to join for this family dinner. Booked a table for 8 PM and reached to the dot. Since I was on time I was given the opportunity to pick a table indoors or outdoors. Peeked indoors to see what they had to offer , somehow the music volume level indoor made me decide on outdoor sitting. I believe that was perfect given the pleasant weather in the city. Also the outdoors is more roomy and the decor is more ‘Hippie’ and cozy. Would suggest this option , unless you are averse to cig smoke. As always with large guests joining in there was the usual pre amble of ‘I have reached here’ or ‘we have reached’ ‘too much traffic’ calls going on and everyone was settled in by a few minutes. When there is a group , there needs to be someone in the group to pick the (tricky) job of ordering for all. Not an easy task as there always most who would say ‘anything is fine’ which adds more spin to the task. Anyway we had a volunteer who took this so that I could start sipping my drink at ease. The menu features a welcoming mix of classic and contemporary options. We decided on a mix of alcoholic + other non alcoholic options for all. They were all good [I wonder what can go wrong here] except the Coladas had too much ice which could be reduced – a suggestion. We went for a variety of bar bites which included Chicken, Lamb, Prawns, Nachos , Veg croquets. The food was good. The portions are medium in size and presentation was impressive. The best I found were the Garlic Butter Thyme Prawns which were fresh, juicy and well cooked. Should try this if you like sea food.As I very much like greasy, fried food with tangy sauce [who does not] so if I’m honest, almost all beige-coloured, carb-heavy comfort food. Everything I had here was in this zone. These are goodies you can log sheepishly into the diet app and have a microchip suggest you sprint 10 km. That is for another day.Service is casual but efficient and prompt, and they’ll offer recommendations where helpful but never get in the way.Ambience is good and has a cool vibe. They do offer valet parking which is a plus.
Ambience -4.5/5Food -4.5/5Service – 4/5True to its name, it’s got a hippie vibe, very colourful and totally instagrammable ambience.I tried their continental as well as Indian menu.I will highly recommend you to try out theirGhee Roast Lamb – It’s one of the best ghee roast meat I ve had till date. The mutton was very tender and very succulent.Mac N cheese Pasta – Oh it was also so scrumptious. Very cheesy. It’s got mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese and some home made cheese sauce. Got a very nice flavour, it’s a must try here.In pizzas I triedFarm house pizza – It was great. Not spicy.Chicken chorizo – It was also very nice. This one is spicy. Btw they do their pizzas really well, feels authentic Italian pizza.I tried pork belly and pork rib for the first time. Though I am a reluctant pork eater, it was really good here. They ve also got some fancy and refreshing mocktails.
I wanted to visit this place for a long time. I had really high expectations from this place and with those high expectation I visited this place on a weekday afternoon with a friend. HippeHeart is located in Deccan. Two wheeler and four wheeler parking is available. This place can be a little difficult to locate. It is big outlet with indoor and outdoor seating. Being a hot afternoon we preferred indoors. The ambience is average. Talking about the food, this place serves a wide range of oriental and continntal dishes along with all the booze. We ordered chilly chiken and bbq chiken pizza. The chilly chiken was really great. It had the right amount of spicyness. The chiken was cooked well. Loved it. The bbq chiken pizza however was a let down. The sweet honey sauce with chiken and cheeze did not work for us. A complete let down. The staff is a bit unattentive. Service is average. Acceptable quality and quantity. Reasonable prices. A one time visit for me.
Hippie@Heart have been a super hearty and all time favourite evening place since a while in Deccan, they were amazing before they relocated yet they are even better now with humongous outdoor as well as indoor seating, with a nice hip hop themed arrangements. Music, lights and vibe is just to die for and so is their newly launched total European menu, the diversity in dishes was phenomenal with a wide variety of starters, salads, pizzas pastas in veg as well as non veg. All of them being a healthy and filling option with blends of beautiful flavours and spices. Their preparations had fresh ingredients with quick service and a hygienic and decorated plating. Really loved their pepperoni pizza, chicken and cheese bites, quinoa tofu salad and meatballs and spaghetti. It was really an amazing evening with soulful food.
Went here famished on a sunday evening to chill with some friends . The place is buzzing with people and i gotta say , it justifies it’s name . It has got a hippie feel to it and the place gives you a goa kind of vibe. They have events almost every weekend and when i went there was a flea market in action, display of handlooms, jewellery and handmade soaps and what not! , amazing place to be!Lets get to the real deal – FO:OOD!We had plenty on our table -STARTERSHummus platterVeg popcornChicken popcornSpinach and feta vol – au -ventLamb vol -au – ventTapenadeSALADSBudha bowlCarpaccioPIZZASfarm freshChicken chorrizoMAINSpad thaiPork ribsSpaghetti meatballsEverything served here is quite relishing and fresh and gourmet.Hummus platter was really top notch . Pita bread and falafel were served with three kind of hummus and to my surprise, it was good with a pizza slice too!Lamb vol -au – vent was something new to me , it was a puff with a filling and it was really scrumptious. My favourite though was tepenade , crispy biscuit topped with cream cheese , damn it just melted in my mouth . You cant really have just one .Salads are most important to me when i go out to eat and in here i was really happy with what they have got . Firstly the plating was royal and the salads were packed with flavours . The only thing i didn’t like was , the veggies were not crunchy and bit over sauted but the flavours were mind blowing.Pizzas are speciality here as they have wood fire ovens and a pizza chef to produce some really good pizzas . We had chicken chorrizo and farm fresh , both had a nice hot crust , authentic and saucy! Cheese was adequate which made it really tasty . The caramelised onions on chicken pizza were a delight to my tastebuds. Its always unfair to the mains because the stomach is already drooling over the starters . But i liked thai pad , flat noodles with good proteins .Overall i think the place has good hospitality , awesome chilling crowd and litt ambience!Check my feed on Instagram @whatscookinginindia to know more.
Beautifull ambience and superb interiors which gave me a very different vibe which I really loved and also in the heart of the city with mild music.Service is amazing. The cuisines are pretty good and authentic taste too.the pizzas and the pastas.Even the salads and the starters were yumm and worth every penny too.Over all very nice place to come and chill with friends and for lip smacking food it is worth visiting.I have personally given 5 star for the taste and service inclusive of the ambience and sitting area.
