As the name goes this place is a traditional Pocket friendly bar that we have seen in the 90’s.This is an old school in the era of glitter and glamour and despite this the place was buzzing with people wen we went there for a tasting. I was instantly curious to know what, why and how. #Conclusion- They simply serve delicious food with a taste of their classic hospitality. Thier bar menu is beefed up with Generic liqour in average pricing. They don’t have many options in Cocktails/ Mocktails though. The menu is extensive and standard with regular options in Indian starters and main course. They also serve Chinese and Thai food.(don’t expect authentic stuff )The ambience is comfortable and casual with dark wodden chairs and glass tables. 80’s bollywood posters around create a nostalgic atmosphere including a poster of SHOLAY( the movie). An antique clock on a brick wall grabs your attention and the golden biege curtains compliment the entire atmosphere.>>All that we tasted here was -Chicken Angara Kebab – A well marinated chicken mix with curd and tomatoes. Slightly spicy with a smoky aroma.Sizzling Hot Pan Chilly Chicken – This came in a sizzler pan and filled the place with its smoke and aroma. The Indian- Chinese Style fried flour coated chicken in a lot of chilly sauce , capsicum and spring onions. For a change I like this kinda stuff at times. So enjoyed it.Paneer tikka – was worried to see this colourful red tika but as I started eating I realised the colour was natural beetroot colour and was impressed by the chefs Innovative idea. Enjoyed the Tikka guilt free.>>I am not into hard drinks so I ordered a Vrigin mojito but in between I gobbled a lot of chakna served with the drinks my fellow foodies had ordered .In mains we ordered ( there was no set menu so everything was unanimously ordered )Murg Musaalam – This was my recommendation as I love this preparation and as expected the dish turned out to be amazing. A heavy quantity of thick spicy whole chicken cooked perfectly with bolied eggs on top. #LovedThisMutton Biryani – extremely Delicious, loaded with flavours my kinda biryani. Mutton was fresh and juicy. #AMustHave at RMDesserts – No fancy desserts on the menu, we were served Icecream in the end which was average in taste.Location :- Its located at Bhandarkar road near yes bank. The restaurant is on the 1st floor of a building with a cafe on the ground floor. One can locate easily via Google maps.
