Vaishali restaurant have been my favourite since college days. The serve the best South Indian food in Pune.The place is almost always crowded and you need to wait but it’s worth it.My favourite here is cheese Mysore masala dosa, it’s flavours are amazing and it’s cheesy as the name.Also one must try SPDP, it’s a little sweet but crunchy. Available only in the evenings.The filter coffee is a must try.The staff is courteous and well try and arrange seats for you asap.

You go here and you find a place to sit within a minute then consider yourself lucky! Vaishali is one of the most sought after restaurant for it’s South Indian cuisine.I’ve been here quite a few times now and it’s never been disappointing. The service is extremely quick and food tastes great!I’ve almost always had their Mysore Masala Dosa which is huge and you would probably had enough by the time you finish it.P.s. The only photo from Vaishali that I have. 😛
Vaishali is a popular restaurant in Pune for southern Indian food. It is located on FC Road. Service is fast and staff is friendly.We tried Cheese onion uttapam , Mysore masala dosa with a cup of steaming filter coffee . The dosas and the uttappas were breathtakingly delicious.So, whenever you are planning to visit Pune, do make it a point to visit Vaishali.
Visited here recently. One of the Pune’s famous South Indian Resto. The Vaishali is considered the best for it’s food. And everyday there is a huge crowd at the resto.Although, the staff could be better well trained and there should be more sitting area. This were the 2 Cons, I faced during my experience. I.e mainly staff and service and secondly ambience. Rest all in terms of food quality and quantity everything was great.• Recommendations by me :1) Mysore Masala Dosa2) Onion UttapamFew restaurants in Pune which are really famous need to hold on their position by perfection. If they lack professionalism, not much time is needed to loose the popularity.Overall my experience was good. And I really liked the food. I hope my review would be taken as a positive gesture and necessary improvements would be done.
I happened to visit Vaishali after a decade recently. Some things actually most of the things haven’t changed there. The crowded place, the waiting, most important the food quality. Though we had to wait for 15 mins, the staff over there is highly efficient in managing the crowd. The first bite of the cheese onion uttapam and I was floored. The Mysore cheese Sada dosa was another delight to have. The sabudana vadas were a let down. Too hard to bite. All this with a humongous glass (you heard it write) of filter coffee. It was utter bliss!
Vaishali is one of the must visit restaurants in Pune. Located at FC road, the place is always full of people. The heavenly smell of their sambar makes it irresistible.We ordered Mysore sada dosa, Mysore masala dosa, onion uttapam and veg cutlet.The Mysore dosas are their speciality and comes with a special type of gunpowder.Uttappa was good too.We also tried veg cutlet which was served with mint chutney and sauce.Their sambar is the bestttt!The food is filling but a bit priced.Overall, highly recommended!
