Small Bar & Resto Located At Walking Distance From Dockyard Road Stn, Modern Is Generally The Main Booze Spot For Locals Here Because Of Lack Of Bars In This Particular Area. Ordered Food From Modern Many Times & Experience Has Always Been Bitter Sweet. Some Dishes Here Excel While Some Just Fail Miserably. Chicken Tikka, Lollypop & Tandoori Is Definately Top Notch Here. While Dishes Like Biryani & Fried Rice Is Very Ordinary & Below Average. Sandwiches Are Decent Too. They Kind Of Add Their Mangalorean Taste In Most Of Chicken Gravies Here. Overall Food Here Is Quite Divided With Starters Being Highlight & Main Courses Being Rockbottom. Cheers!!

Chicken crispy , chicken sukha , chilli chicken dry , lolli pop , tandoor and tangdi kabab all are terrific. Their garlic nun , aloo paratha , chicken fried rice , chicken briyani are really mouth watering. I mean perfect taste. Very limited amount of oil is used which I like about this eating joint. Its a place where you get cheap yummy food and alcohol. Not at all a family restro. If you stay anywhere near to it do order food and you won’t be disappointed !!! A definite try !
One of the best Mangalorian food I have ever had. The owner himself supervising the kitchen. Must try the bombil fry and prawns sukha. Very reasonable booze to. Must sit upstairs, one feels as in goa .
