I visited this place after many years and it is still the same and so are the prices. ( wait, what ? ) You are at Law College Road, you are spending just Rs. 30 for a Set Dosa or Appe or even as low as Rs. 20 for a plate of Idli Sambar. No, the quantity is not minimal it is quite sufficient. This in true sense defines value for money. With that value for money, you will also be accompanied with some mosquitoes and if you visit it at peak hours your ears are open to the traffic vocals of Nal Stop. Not only that, there is also a library in here. Ambiance-Under the massive coconut tree and a bit of greenery all around you sit on the plastic chairs. The ambiance is decent. You can also find dogs in there. Food- 1) CoffeeThe coffee is amazing and so reasonable! I think they use the peaberry coffee that has a very strong taste. Being a coffee lover, I loved it! 2) Set DosaThe Set Dosa is soft and quite nice. The winner is the Sambar. I did not like the chutney much. The sambar is very different from the other South Indian joints that have a kind of similar ( not same ) taste. 3) AppeSpongy and succulent. 4) Rawa Idli It was okayish, but it was not bad. Overall, the place is going to save a lot of money for you and will make you feel full by eating a variety of flavorsome food items at amazingly low prices! P.S.- its a self service place 🙂

A small outlet inside a building compound, where you’ll find healthy food meals, is a go to place for major homely food cravings. This is Ragi Dosa along side Sambhar and Chutney. The food is freshly cooked once you place the order and the taste is good. There are plastic chairs and stools to sit and eat under a shed area.
