  Another legendary restaurant which has been there in Pune for past four generations. The owner Mr. Neverekar is friendly and humble guy who hails from Dapoli. With the next generation into corporate jobs, it would be really a loss to the patrons if the restaurant decides to close the business in coming years.The food is homely with some unique dishes like liver, vajari, kapura, gurda etc.【FOOD ORDERED】 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️◆ Paya SoupHealthy soup with no salt. You will have to add salt as 0er your taste.◆ Kaleji MasalaNice homely masala made with the red chilli paste, remind of your grandmother’s simple yet delicious food.◆ Chinoy RiceA unique rice with kheema and egg combination is worth the try.◆ Tambda RassaAgain a simple rassa with the homely red chilli ‘waatan’ dominating the flavor.【AMBIENCE】⭐️⭐️⭐️Plastic chairs and tables with adequate seating. The poster of mid 50s American bodybuilder and actor Steve Reeves adorn the walls.【SERVICE】⭐️⭐️⭐️Mostly for takeouts, the service is quick with no fuss.【VALUE FOR MONEY】⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️It is cheap. Apparently the rates specified are per plate so shouldn’t be mistaken per dish.【OVERALL EXPERIENCE】⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Definitely worth a visit to this legendary restaurant to try out some unique dishes.

  I heard about the place through CityShor and decides to have lunch there todayAmbience and Service – 2/5It’s really the kinda joint where you should be grateful u got a chair and a table to sit on. Very small and uncomfortable and I reckon women don’t bother entering. But I’d say going there and ordering food to go would be a better option. Service is fast but they seem a bit confused.Food – 4/5Tried the Mutton Curry and Bhakri first and it was reasonably good. I do have to admit that the portions are really small and one should contemplate ordering another portion based on one’s appetite. The Mutton was tender but the curry itself seemed ordinary and lacked punch. However the Kheema Fry I ordered was like a Lightning Bolt. Perfectly cooked and great taste. I finished off with their famous Chinoy Rice which is Pulav Rice mixed with mince and boiled eggs and is worthy of an order. Overall I’d say it’s worth trying their food which is a little rustic and in slight contrast to what’s served in restaurants out there.

  Great place for the Hardcore non-vegetarian if someone looking for mouthwatering taste and without cutting deep pockets then ths is The Place.
