  October month is all about beer and amazing food.You can get both at Boteqium Cervejaria which have a special Oktoberfest menu curated specially for all the meat lovers !The Brazilian bread was really soft and so Cheesy and fluffy from inside.The main course item that I like the most were the Lemon Thyme roast chicken,pork momos and pork sausages.Do visit this place with your beer buddies to try their 5 new beers with delicious food on the table !

  Botequim Cervejaria, KP – #Oktoberfest at it’s best! #WanderDriveEat #FoodTastingOktberfest has gripped the city with excitement and is still keeping it’s head above the water in spite of Navratri and veg only restrictions. Botequim Cervejaria has decided to take it up a notch and has, in my opinion, given us the best food and beer combination of Pune. This amazing open air Bohemian styled rooftop pub is like the hip, fun loving well traveled sister of the incredible Brazillian meatery (Boteco), retaining the crazy good food while slathering on a full on party vibe and a superlative selection of craft beers and drinks.BEERSCraft beers are my favourite thing to drink in the world and Botequim Cervejaria spoils you with choice. 12 or so beers from more than 5 beer companies (from Pune and Mumbai) with a diverse and delicious range of flavours. My absolute favourites were the Neipa from Great State Ale Works, Bridge to UtoIPA from Yavasura and La Java Coffee Lager by the Bombay Duck Brewing Company. The citrusy refreshing IPA and the creamy, intense dark lager with a delicious coffee flavour and a foamy thick head, these beers were incredible. The Basil Peppercorn Witbier from Yavasura too definitely needs special mention.FOODMan, we were bombarded with incredible dishes one after the other and the quality and taste of the food here is just incomparable. Almost no dish was bad and in fact so many of them were so mind blowing, I’m already craving for them as I write.Oktoberfest SpecialsThe Lemon Thyme Roast Chicken (whole) was definitely on the top of the list. It just looked so incredible and festive. Juicy chicken with a beautiful crust of spices and smoke. It was stuffed with garlic, onion, thyme and pepper. So fragrant! On opening it up the juices flowed out exposing the fall off the bone juicy meat, the aroma just filling up our noses. The taste was just incredible, so soul satisfying! Do whatever you have to, but have to try this for sure!Wurstl was a delicious platter of superb smoky juicy pork sausages topped with pickles, served with fresh bread and amazing salsa sauce. The Brezen or pretzels was another Oktoberfest favourite. Soft and slightly chewy, amazing salt on top. What a combination with mustard, butter and the beers!Schweinebraten or Roast Pork was juicy, uber meaty, fatty and delicious. The skin was a bit chewy, but definitely a treat for pork lovers. The Beer Battered Chicken wings were super crispy and juicy, but need a bit more flavour.Signature DishesPao de Queijo is a traditional fresh Brazilian bread filled with gooey soft cheese – incredible! The Casava Chips were crispy and really morish. Pork Momos (apparently there is a huge Asian influence in Brazil) were so juicy, meaty and flavourful, definitely one of my favourite dishes.The Dynamite Fish was crispy, juicy and just bathed in flavourful sauces. The Bacon Wrapped Prawns were amazing too, crispy bacon, fresh succulent prawns but the sauce was a bit difficult to reach on the bottom.Overall just a mad selection of dishes that were so soul satisfying and delicious. One of the best food experiences of my life, genuinely. If you are a hardcore carnivore, this place cannot be missed!DESSERTThe Churros Sandwich was decent. The churros had gone a bit soggy due to the ice cream, had they been a bit crispier, it would have tasted really nice. The Cheesesake was amazing, with a tangy kiwi sauce on top!VERDICTI’m not gonna say anything, just take a look at the photos and tell me if you can resist this beast of a food experience. I can’t wait to go here at night, when the music is full blast, party and chow on this amazing food and quench my thirst with some amazing craft beer!

  Situated in one of the plush areas of Pune, Koregaon park lane 7; it is on the 3rd floor and a roof top bar.The decor is welcoming and lively. They have a DJ too (I visited on a Sunday) who plays great groovy music.We ordered BBQ chicken burger, Korean BBQ chicken bowl and chicken schnitzel salad. Everything tasted classic. Food presentation is great. Though the food portion isn’t satisfactory. On an average you’ll spend 400-500 on anything you choose to order plus taxes. They have 2+1 on liqour and do not accept zomato gold.

  A fome é o melhor tempero which literally means hunger is the best seasoning is a famous portuguese proverb that goes famously in brazil making this cuisine very close to ours because lets face we are all foodies at heart and gluttony runs deep in our veins. Brazilian cuisine in india?yes botequim brings brazilian cuisine to india. The whole ambience of this place brings the favela feeling not the slum but the shack like windy feeling to enjoy this cuisine. Remember when dominic toretto enjoyed beers in brazil well you can too with their unique crafted beers unique to brazil. We tried namely La Java Cerveja Coffee lager which is a unique blend of coffee and beer infused into one drink that pleases the inner coffee and beer lover. Milk stout is a light beer that leaves a very subtle aftertaste. Goes very well with the cuisine. Their specialty is the brazilian chope which is served chilled that is specially brewed for this place.love chilled beer and chilled scenes try this! Cocktails I had: Pink lady: ladies if you hit like a girl and I mean it in a very feminist way. This drink packs a punch that definitely hits you without the bitter taste.it surely kicks you the right way dressed pretty in baby pink. Kingslayer just as the name comes in a martini glass in two layers one green symbolizing the battlefield atop a pool of red symbolizing the blood of your enemy.tasted like a drink for the kings. The afterlife! One word: gets you there. You wanna get into afterlife with the help of anubis the god of underworld? Have this drink which is a powerful concoction of all the hard drinks mixed with an entire can of red bull which is literally flipped on it and like they say red bull does give you the wings to trasport you to the afterlife. The food here mainly comprises of appetizers and finger food and monster burgers not to mention healthy filling food bowls not your typical three course meal as it was designed to enjoy a pint with friends under the moon. Bolinho di aipim which is their in house specialty vegan item completely gluten free is a bread specialty served with hot sauce.i loved the subtle taste and I totally loved the vegan flavouring. The veg dinner rolls were a fav among the vegetarians as its filled with mushroom and cream cheese filling topped with immense amounts of cheese that literally is worth that cheese pull effect .fav fav for vegetarians. the pork momos just melts in your mouth making you crave more and more.all those momo lovers who love juicy pork steamed perfectly.The bacon wrapped prawns came in shot glasses dipped in a spicy hot sauce that really went with the juicy bacon and crispy fresh prawns. Love hot wings? Go for the botequim in house flavoured wings which comes in the classic bbq and hot buffalo sauce.have either one type or a mixture of both coming with the cool ranch to cool the heat off. Dynamite fish was deliciously creamy and crunchy tossed with a creamy yet flavoursome sauce topped with fresh chopped herbs that was so fresh and light that I had one whole portion because I love fish.if you are a bong and a fish lover definitely order this dish! The new orleans botequim food bowl was really filling as it came with delicious chicken , flavoured rice accompanied with a whole soft boiled egg cut in two.this bowl is enough for two people as it has enough veges and protein and carbs to fill you up yet leaving such a beautiful aftertaste resembling a cuisine similar to ours. Wait up for the MOTHER of ALL MEAT BURGERS I.e double ex-touro burger: double beef patty burger served with fries! Holy moly this one massive burger is for the meat lovers . Need I say more? End your meal with the oreo cheesecake which is the best ender to this amazing meal that is truly a meal for those god sent glutton lovers who enjoy a very delicious dessert which has fresh cream,fresh cut apples and also a heavenly cheesecake. Head to botequim if you want to relax and unwind under the stars with your friends or loved ones who love to try new cuisines and palates or if they just love tasty food. xoxo

  What comes to your mind when someone asks you about your favorite international cuisine? Italian, Mexican, Chinese or maybe Thai?! How about Brazilian? Well, in all probability it won’t be in your list of Top 5 for sure, simply because you have not come across Brazilian food yet.Just like Brazilian Football, Brazilian beaches and Brazilian culture, Brazilian food is surely something to talk about. It has deep roots into their culture and is as lip smacking and mouth watering as any cuisine.The challenge is, where can you find it? Well! Look no further because Botequim Cervejarija is your only place serving the Brazilian cuisine in all of Pune. They are split into a restaurant (Beteco) and a rooftop bar which is (Botequim Cervejarija).The ambiance is built bearing in mind a peaceful yet lively vibe. Service is good and you in all probability would like it.The spread is divided into Salads, Burgers, Churrasco – which is grilled meat served on skewers, bar snacks, one bowl meals and desserts.The absolute must try bar snack is Bacon wrapped prawns. Served in shot glasses filled with Chimichurri sauce, it is just a fresh take on the brilliant fish we all so love. Pork Momos and Botequim wings are also good.The double Ex-Touro is a double patty beef burger, which is more than filling and is just a delight to eat. I tried the hell’s kitchen and the chili steak in Churrasco, which was, I kid you not, the best skewer I have ever tasted. The steak was medium rare with a perfect pink color on the inside.They also have their own selection of craft brews, which include in house and imported. You can easily find a beer close to your palette be it an IPA, a lager or stouts. My favorite – their Cream stout and New England IPA. This is a mini heaven for beer drinkers.Cost for two is easily around Rs 1200 or more but I kid you not, it is real value for money considering this is a fine dine.Needless to say that I recommend the place and is easily one of my favorites in Pune.   Saúde to the Brazilian food in the Heart of Culinary Scenes in Pune.Botequim Cervejaria or a Tavern Brewery as the meaning goes is an excellent rooftop choice. Located on probably the busiest block of the silent lanes of KP, I was delighted to attend a #BloggersTable here.The Vibrant Bar, The silent rooftop setup and exorbitant variety of delicacies are what Botequim has to offer.We started with Craft Beers:I opted for Yavasura Milk Stout. A creamy dark beer with a slightly sweeter taste. I was surprised to see a number of beers on tap at Botequim. Ranging from Great State Ale Works to Bombay Duck to Even White Owl, the sheer number of craft beers on offer amazed me.Bar Bites Dynamite Fish: Started with one of my absolute favourite of the night. The beer-batter fish in the Botequim special dynamite sauce was to be fair ‘above all’. The perfect accompaniment to the Milk Stout and I wish I could only have these two for the evenings I want to chill with friends. Bacon-Wrapped Prawns: There are few dishes I order so that I can judge the place better this being one of those. Bacon-wrapped prawn is one of my absolute favourites and I hate the place which can screw this simple preparation up. I must say Botequim passed the test with flying colours. The Parmesan sauce was made to perfection and the bacon was absolutely delectable.Pork Momos: Shredded pork-filled inside a thin layer of flour. Another top-notch dish. The Soy sauce played a very important role in giving this a subtle burst of flavours.Bolitho De Aipim: Croquettes is something I don’t usually prefer to go with my beer. The oiliness just kills the vibe for me. But upon recommendation, I had this and to my surprise, I felt like it has sweet potato. Upon inquiry, I came to know that it contains cassava a Brazilian equivalent of sweet potato. Not too oily. Liked it.We explored the best WingsGarlic Parmesan Chicken Wings and Chimichurri Wings: Oh I was delighted. I love to dig my teeth into a good, juicy and tender wings served with the perfect sauce. Both of these we absolutely worth a try.Then we moved our attention to a mammoth of a Burger: A double patty messy burger is something you don’t get everywhere. Enough to fill the hungry belly of two, this we couldn’t even finish within 4 of us. DessertsTwo desserts we tried were Churros Sandwich: This was the best part of the meal. We were literally fighting like cats over this one. Not too sweet. A perfect combination of the soft Vanilla Ice-Cream and the warm crunchy Churros.Oreo Cheesecake: Another Delightful dessert. A cheesecake with the Oreo topping. Perfect for someone who loves to indulge in a creamy chocolaty enchant.Overall Boteco is known to all food lovers around town. I’ve seen people recommend it like crazy and Botequim take the experience a level above that ( Literally 😉 ) I would recommend this place to hang out with friends or take a loved one along on a date night.
