Was quite impressed with the food served at Taj. I’ve always been under the impression of 5 star hotels serving bland food but Vivanta by Taj has changed my perception. Everything on the table was superb. My favourite was Spinach Cheese Garlic Tarts. It was an appetiser. Melted cheese blended with spinach and served in tarts, well you can imagine the taste. The combination of spinach and cheese was superb. Another item worth mentioning is their Tandoori Salad. Carrots, Potatoes and Cauliflower marinated in curd and spices, it was something unique and I fell in love with the achaari flavour. Coming to the main course, we had Dum Aloo Benarasi, Subz Hara Pyaaz, Laal Maas and Kabuli Pulao. Everything was top notch. Ended our meal with Hot Chocolate Pudding that comprised of small pieces of chocolate cake drizzled with lots of warm melted chocolate. This one was literally soul touching and heart warming. It was the perfect end to the lavish meal.

Went to Easy last evening after our Salon appointment. While my friend sat there and ordered a beer, the young server wearing green (don’t recall his name but he had an experience of 4 years) failed to deliver the bare minimum service of at least opening the bottle. My friend used his mouth to open the bottle and pour the beer himself. In the middle of this server couldn’t find an opener, he took a phone call and then he got another order. We were also served really soggy and tasteless salli as an accompaniment to our bottle of wine and beers. However, the Chilli Basil Chicken that we ordered was quite appetizing. Never mind this, another server there along with this fellow in green had the most animated conversations behind the bar whilst we sat by the bar counter. Kid you not, they were so loud and careless that my friend and I felt like a part of their banter. There was no subtlety, they didn’t feel the need to excuse themselves and talk or make jokes. Very very poor attitude to customers and their job in general. I can even tell you what they were talking about. We were so irrelevant for them. We finally just ended up changing our table.I asked for the manager and shared the entire experience and he did nothing. No recovery of any kind. We ate dinner at Whispering Bamboo. Food and service there was good. However, their card machines were a problem and it took the server 4-5 attempts to charge my card which finally happened at the reception. We paid the bill of almost ₹5000 and left for this really disappointing experience.
One of the most classy bars in the city with a superb collection of drinks n one thing I like over here are their Gosht Seekh Kababs.Quick service n best ambience n it really makes me feel EASY as the name suggests.Thank you so much guys for your wonderful hospitality.
Went with friends to enjoy evening for a birthday event. Had great food, best service and ambience. Well manner staff, well trained, really appreciate. Only thing we don’t like that is music. Rest overall was excellent.
The Taj group may not have the best hotels in the country anymore but they’re usually still the byword on service. Unfortunately not this bar. Disinterested bartender who seemed reluctant to serve a beer at 2300. He was surprised when I requested the beer in a glass (not heard of beer in a glass?), no napkin, no munchies, nothing. This maybe a popular place in the area but frankly you couldn’t do much worse by going to a place around who has staff more interested in serving you.

Absolutely shitty food. A big disappointment by taj. Have worked in Taj and cooked myself but this Pune experience was horrible. Check images of Paneer Lababdar, guys come on keep up to your reputations. Curry was more of desert
