Review is for breakfast buffet during my stay,Sunday morning buffet was a decent spread, though not vast like 5 star property but had variety. Two juices – packaged ,along with one fresh watermelon juice and one cold coffee.Cereals, cheese platter, chicken and pork salami.Cut fruitsEgg stationPorridge, chole puri, paratha, dosa, idli, poha , grilled veggies, fish chilly, noodlesTea coffeeBakery items had short bread, dry cake, donuts, danish pastery, croissant and breads. In all the bakery items could do with a lot of improvement.Rest all the items were good. The next day being monday the quality of food was not good as it was on Sunday. If you are staying it is a decent grab – but if you are planning for a morning breakfast buffet there are plenty 5 star options in pune
A place I wanna visit again. Starting from starter to sweetdishes all are mention worthy. A calm and soothing environment where one can enjoy their brunch or lunch.
Breakfast here happened by chance as I am in house guest. And oh boy! I was pleasantly surprised. I never like the breads or the buns at any buffet breakfast. But this place completely changed my perception. Absolutely loved the cinnamon buns. The iddiyappam with the curry was sensational. I couldn’t help but go back for another serving. The chicken curry in garlic sauce with the rice was exceptional. They also had 2 canned and 2 fresh juices. What amazes me was inspite of having an Indian and continental spread they had a menu placed on the tables which also was included in the menu of breakfast. We ordered for banana pancake. I wasn’t impressed so much but my friend loved it.I doubt I would be going back here unless I’m going to be staying here. But definitely a one time visit. Also, this restaurant is open 24×7.
Serene, leafy neighbourhood , perfect ambience for a leisurely meal or a drink anytime of the day. The service staff and Chef turn your meal into an experience to remember . Stayed in the hotel , had buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Highly recommended !
No doubts about the ambiance, service, taste and quality of food but this one is an expensive place which has become further dearer in past few years; only for little deep pockets!Another Panchshil owned properties where my earlier Briton boss prefers to stay. Usually we have a get-together may be once or twice in a year (while he is around).Though there are other much superior places in the vicinity but it was a suggestion and six of us assembled for dinner early evening. The place was almost empty this time.Good ambiance with low illumination, polished staff (addressed by their first names) and the real Chefs for responding to your needs. This place offers excellent barbecue dinner by pool side on Sundays but unfortunately it was not hence I made a suggestion to go for buffet but it was turned down and “A La Carte” was the way forwards. Menu is totally oriented towards foreign nationals visiting India and has select famous preparations from around the world.A few beers (in pre-cooled beer glasses) with complementary peanuts and potato wafers, chicken tikka (out of the menu, on request) was tender and perfectly done, veg popcorn were close to tiny veg khima pakodas and tasty, stuffed wild mushrooms were great, mix crunchy vegetables veg with gravy (again out of the menu, on request) was sweet sour and tasteful, rotis, yellow dal tadka, jeera rice all decent.Light discussion as well as updates with little humor on various topics.I will say… good enough. ashtiw.wordpress.com
Really enjoyed my evening at oakleaf. We ordered the mushroom tocas,Greek panini,2 cheese pizza and brownie. It was just the panini that we felt was a little too salty, the others were all near perfect. Perfect flavours and delicious. Service was good but could be more attentive. During the entire course of the meal there wasn’t any water on our table until we asked for it right in the end. Other than that oakleaf offers you delicious food. We’ve already decided what we want to try on our next visit!
Excellent place to relaxin the afternoon and unwind after a long day in the night. Their ambiance is very classy and has a very relaxing feel to it! food is amazing and portion size is WOW! definitely value for money, i feel the estimate for 2 = 1200 is incorrect is much lesser!!
