The French Window Patisserie , Lane number 5, Koregaon ParkLooking for some Goa or Pondicherry vibes in Pune? Look no further but in KP, lane number five. Honestly, this place is slightly hard to find.#Location: It is literally tucked away in a small private lane just next to the famous Malaka Spice in lane number 5. Creepy approach at night but when you are at the gates, you are sure of entering a paradise of sorts, with warm, friendly staff and a few rescued and adopted beautiful furry friends roaming around, serving some extra love at the tables.Once seated, we were handed the menus promptly. The menu is primarily continental with a lot of salads, sandiwiches, coffees and a lot of delectable French food. And after settling down in the atmosphere and browsing through the menu, our order was:1. #HotChocolate – This has to be one of the best hot chocolates I have ever had!! This is an #AbsoluteMustOrder2. #BakedMeatBallsWithPotatoMashAndCheese – There are moments where you just read the name of the dish on the menu and your instinct tells you to order it and that’s exactly what I did. One bite into this and as they say in Puneri Marathi lingo, I proclaimed ‘Vishay End, Bhau’!!! this is a #MustOrder3. #LambChops with Dill Sour cream and Cauliflower mash – What a abundance of lamb meat on the chops smothered with some beautiful brown sauce!! Awesome stuff#MyVerdict – This was an apt and short dinner but a fabulous one!! They have some excellent breakfast options too starting from 9am. I think TFWP is truly a tiny food paradise with much needed vacay vibes from the daily routine. Go in for just a coffee or hot chocolate or a proper meal anytime between 9am and 11pm and I am sure you will thank me for this place!! What a find!! and completely worth your money!!p.s. #Parking in that small alley might be issue. I recommend you park your vehicle on the main road of Lane 5 near Malaka Spice.
People talk about The French Window for their desserts, but I personally like their food better than the desserts. Strong recommendations:- Croissants (tried Cheese, Ham & Cheese, and Creamy Mushrooms- loved all three of them)- Ratatouille (I’ve am not a spaghetti person, but this one can’t be missed)- Nutella Pancakes- Hot ChocolateA few other worthy mentions are:- Jamaican Coffee Cake- Mango Cheese Cake+ Love their ambience. Their outdoor seating on a pleasant day will make you fall in love with this place.++ Very friendly and helpful staff. Accommodating to all your needs.
We recently had the chance to visit this quaint and beautiful eatery in the streets of Koregaon Park (KP). Luckily we chose to begin our day with a meal from this place and weren’t disappointed at all. It’s so French and beautiful, it’ll steal your heart right away. We tried the Avocado on Toast which was fresh, refreshing and absolutely crunchy and delicious. It’s a good choice if you’re an Avo fan. We also tried the Cheese Omlette w Chicken here considering no morning is complete without eggs in some form or the other. It was so fluffy, yummy and at the same time comforting. We also drooled over the Hot Chocolate w Marshamallows which is a must have. It was rich, decadent and so sinful, you will just not be able to stop yourself from ordering another one. All in all, you’ve gotta visit this lovely eatery the next time you’re in and around KP.
Recommend : Jamaican coffee layered cake, Cuppacino , Dryfruit banana crumble , Lamingtons Very cosy and romantic cafe for long conversations over coffee in the evenings. The place is rightly situated away from the hustle and bustle of main streets providing soothing environment and good vibes. coffees are great along with assorted bakery delicacies.
Such a cozy and peaceful place! If you are looking to have breakfast at a decent place then this is the one. The solely have this factor of ‘taste’ in the food. Totally loved this place. This place has now become my new favourite. We ordered marcarons too of flavours, chocolate and coffee (there were so many flavours to choose from). The coffee served here is also hot and good. The lady at the counter is very polite and the best part is they are working on taking care of atreet dogs with all the donatiok you give. Kidos to them for working so hard and doing everything that they can.I would love to visit this place again. Best place for breakfast with a cozy ambience 🙂
Had been here yesterday. As it was a very highly rated place decided to try it last minute as we were in the area. Went for :1. Chocolate Decadence: Chocolate Decadence was heaven. It had layers of dark chocolate and cake. The dark chocolate wasn’t bitter. Absolutely amazing. The ganache used was divinely rich and the pastry did complete justice to it’s name.2. Coffee Tiramisu: The Tiramisu had a very nice, light and fluffy cream. It was very airy and light and literally melted in the mouth. 3. Blueberry cheesecake: Didn’t quite like this one. It was too small and not worth the price. Even the taste wasn’t that great. Have had better cheesecakes for lesser prices. All pastry lovers must definitely try this place. It’s a little on the expensive side but definitely worth a try.
