Chocolate brownie was not available which was a turnoff
The Kadak Rumali is a staple I order when I go to my favorite restaurant and I insisted on ordering it here since it looked really good in the pictures, it was cold and the tough to eat. The button seekh kebab was a recommendation from the staff and we were extremely disappointed as it was plasticy on the outside and very chewy. The chicken tandoori too was cold and too spicy. There was no other flavour but spice. A total disappointment with food. But I have to mention that the staff is extremely polite and very well mannered. They were very pleasant and welcoming.
We reached the place today ie 5/1/20 for lunch at 3.10 pm. We were not informed that the kitchen would shut at 3.30 ie within 20 mins & our entire order was tandoor food which would take at least 20 mins for preparation. coz Zomato states 11am-11 pm service . We were rushed into ordering all our main course & starters at one go. When the food came the veg kadai was sweet( that I could dip a gulab jamun in it & EAT as a dessert). Tandoori aloo was of a size of ostrich eggs where not even salt had reached for taste!!! The dal makhani was salt less as a cream paste .Generally we had a horrific time & even when the manager was called he had nothing to say & still made a wrong bill by adding roasted papad in our bill. Mr Gandhi I understand you are the owner of this place. Please look into this. We are a regular at your Bandra outlet.& love the place. Also when I asked for a feed back form. The manager informed me that the same was not available. Not worth the money I paid !!!
The food was poor quality, undercooked and even the servings were small.Nothing tasted good.Would not recommend this place. It’s not anything like authentic north Indian cuisine.
Went to dinner here last night (Thursday, 31st Oct.) with a friend. The server at our table suggested we try the Mutton Roast Masala. We ordered that along with 3 Lachcha Paratha and a KF Ultra beer. The food tasted good and the service was great as well. However, I’ve been down with severe diarrhea and vomiting 5-6 hours after my meal at The Great Punjab. It’s extremely severe and I’m guessing the mutton served to us was not fresh or there was something definitely wrong with it.
