The ULTIMATE Biryani I’ve had in Pune, much like the one I’ve had in Hyderabad. Rustic, aromatic & near perfect! :)The chicken was perfectly cooked along with long grain rice. This Biryani didn’t have a lot of masala in it, nor was it oily, however, it certainly wasn’t dry! In fact, it was quite flavourful off the caramelised onions, whole spices and I’m sure some secret ingredients. I whole heartedly recommend the Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani here. It was a short trip to Hyderabad for me to be honest!!! :)Adding to this, they served some super authentic and yummm Salan(it was to die for, not kidding) , & raita along with it. Chicken 65 – One bite of this and I was blown away! Batter fried boneless chicken, tossed in garlic/curry leaves/ green chillies. Not sure if it’s this combination of ingredients or the way their chef made it, it was lip smacking!!! The spice level on this one was alarming low, near perfect. I have to add that the staff was super helpful in suggesting the food portions. We couldn’t decide on how much of the Biryani portion to order amongst the both of us. The person behind the counter, suggested we go for a particular portion size and I must admit it was just proper for us. Thank you for your super assistance! The service here is quite quick, our food was served within 10 minutes of ordering! I think I’ve found my permanent fix for Biryani in Pune! Biryani lovers shouldn’t miss this place, when in Pune. 🙂
