This is a newly opened small shop with decent ambience (you can choose to sit either inside or outside) with a courteous owner. Though they have not published their menu on Zomato but they serve indori pohe, sabudana khichdi, samosa and moong dal kachori which is superb in taste along with tea. Their weekend special is daal baati which I have not tried yet. They also serve parathas and pulav and top of that it’s pocket friendly.
We were hunting for a restaurant on this winter morning, and stumbled by this restaurant by @accident. The restaurant was good in terms of seating, cleanliness, hygiene, food was ok too. We ordered pohe and chai. Was ok i guess. I’ve had better pohe in the past. Final verdict of the place: can improve in a lot of ways, but not bad either. And yeah, I almost forgot to mention, this place is really easy on the pocket too.
Awesome food and Indori authentic snacks. I will recommend for poha, tea and Dal bhati (on weekends). Must visit place. Quality and service was too good, impressed with the verity of snacks available here. Best place to hangout with friends. This has now become my fav & regular adda with friends and family!
We order Samoa and kachori from this place for function in our house, in red source it’s incets ant present.very very dirty red source. Please don’t go or order such as bad and dirty restaurant. It’s very very unhigenic. We trust restaurant but they are planning our health for small amount of money.I will not at order any thing from this restaurant and will ask all my friends please avoid this restaurant.
On the busy street of Porwal Road, one might not even notice this place. But, it is a good place to have tea, snacks and items like daal baati. I have visited this place many times, early morning, with our badminton gang, for after game tea and poha. Their Poha is better than the mostYesterday, we decided to check this place out at late evening as well.We started with dahi samosa and dahi kachori. Both the samosa and the kachori are very good in taste; alongwith the right amount of dahi, it becomes really amazing. We enquired for litti, that they normally have on offer for weekends, but they didn’t have it yesterday. So we ordered daal baati and daal baafla. It was served quickly. The daal and the kadhi served with baati, were very good. Same is true for baafla. I specially enjoyed the red chutney that was served along.A nice, simple place that is worth. If you don’t mind the simple ambience, then you can some good food here at very reasonable rates.
This place is a hidden treasure. It is a really small joint so we ventured there with least expecting as our little one was hungry and this place served Maggie. To my surprise they had a daal Bati thali which we were told was weekend special. We wanted to try it so ended up ordering it. It was a very generous amount and was extremely delicious. This arose our curiosity and we ventured to this place again next week. Orders poha and parantha and loved it instantly. Now it’s our little go to place for dal bati and little nibbles
The best Poha I have ever had in my life ! It was so so so good , that I am going to keep ordering from this place and I also plan to visit them some day . Poha is for 25 RsKachori for 15 RsKachori was tiny in size . But the chutney that came with it was so good . Though in picture it looks green , don’t be deceived guys that is a mint chutney which was also sweet and spicy at the same time . Loved it .
