This place is known for its misal thalis and nonveg thalis. The seating area is quite cool. It’s based on the baithak concept of seating. We had ordered the chicken fish thali. It’s real VFM. The fish served was fresh and crispy. The chicken kheema was wonderfully tasty but the quantity served was way too little. Would like to go back and try out the other thalis as well.
This place is just a few kilometers from the Hinjewadi IT Hub. This is a must visit for all the nearby IT Crowd craving for authentic non-veg & veg Maharashtrian cuisine, served in thali as well as ala-carte form. Thali is highly recommended when coming in crowds(look at the menu and u’ll know why). Also known for its misal which is served all day. Staff is really courteous. Servings are generous and easy on pocket. We had 1) mutton-fish thali 2) vegetarian- pithala, bhareli vangi, jowar and bajra bhakri . 3) puran poli1) fish served 3 ways – shallow fry, deep fry and curry. Mutton served in form of thick curry base. All great on taste with top quality.2) pithala, vangi was lip smacking in every bite.3) puran poli – is jewel of the crown(generous proportions of ghee and jaggery served hot) and highly recommended at end of every meal for all for great finish.Will definitely re-visit to try all other combinations of non-veg thali and misal.

Food – 3.5 / 5The food was tasty and delicious as seen in the pictures .They served it with 3 Rassa(curries of different flavours).We order three special cheese engineer misals and one special engineer misal. I would prefer special engineer misal (cheese variant was not so effective for the taste buds ).We even order wada pav and it was average.Staff : 2/5The staff was not so polite and was more busy doing his own activities.Ambience : 2/5The seating arrangement is very traditional.Cleanliness was not up to the mark .they can improve on this.Overall this is a good place to try out for brunch on a weekend .They also have a good menu for lunch and dinner , can be tried & will definitely do it some other day.
Since this place is famous for misal i went to try their misal options. I tried thier engineer’s specail misal. And fish fry too.. I loved fish fry misal was good too. They provide 3 types of rassa (gravy) with miisal . Though the place is small Sitting arrangement is good. Overall good place in marunji area.Here again I am updating my review. Visited this place again n i tried their chicken-fish thali and kolhapuri chicken thali . Both were good and i liked their kolhapuri chicken. Its not allowed to share thali so if u are 2 people visiting this place then u cant share thali , u hve to order 2 thalis.. there are some option of thalis which can be shared by 4 ppl. But overall good food ,good place..
Located in Hinjewadi, the menu over here has options starting from starters, to misal pav and thalis.Seating arrangements is quite comfortable even though the place is small, but honestly there is much more improvement required in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. The misal I had ordered, taste was okay though and price is decent enough.
Superb place..must try if you are in or near Hinjewadi. We loved the way they serve misal. And all food items are soo tasty. I will surely recommend this place to friends. We tried special misal, omlet pav, vada pan and tea
