I had gone to Callow at Kalyani Nagar to check out the place for a birthday lunch.While I was there I spoke to the staff wanting to know if their menu is updated on Zomato as many a times the menu prices on Zomato varies from the actual places .Zomato showed Callow Kalyani Nagar as permanently shut.While it was operational n I was standing right there.The staff informed me that the Koregoan Park branch of Callow is shut .I personally went to Koregoan Park branch.It was actually shut for operations.Zomato team you guys need to update your Information regarding operational n shut places also about the menu n yes in regards to contact nos of most places too.Pls don’t bother about the rating .I had to select a rating to post the review.I have personally not tried the food.
I had been to this place around 6-6.30 in the evening and I could not find anyone . So I was kind of surprised to see that at the first place. The place looked more like a house to me than a cafe. The decor is good. The smoothie that I had was good too. But I didn’t like the overall feel and aura of the place.
To be honest, the place is pretty, but i didn’t really liked the food, firstly it is overpriced, what it specialises in is Smoothies, but they are rather bowls of liquidy shakes .Didn’t like it at all, the pizza was still goodand the ice teas.
Food is good to taste which is a ++ :DService is extremely slow! They forgot twice to serve us water.Billing was a pain as their card machine wasn’t working and they didn’t offer googlepay/paytm initially. Anyways we figured out half payment in cash and then paytm later.
If you are looking for a kid friendly place, then this is right at the top. While I haven’t tried much except pasta, the ambience and staff would make up for any shortfall in food quality (if any). Kids can have a wonderful time in the garden, ride the battery operated car and play with other toys.
You can’t give more stars than this to a cafe that serves really bad lemon iced tea and green tea. I would expect these to be the basics for a cafe. The ambience is very ‘playgroup’ like and they have just 5 songs playing on repeat. Also they only accept cash payments and nothing else
