Tucked away into a pretty little corner right at the start of Lane 6, Parvez Kebabs has done what no other restaurant in Pune has,bring the authentic Bombay Tikka to the streets of Pune. For those of you out there who are unaware of what the Bombay Tikka is, then your taste buds are about to experience a nee dimension of taste. What makes the Bombay tikka so delicious is the fact that each piece is succulent and tends to melt in your mouth. We started with the Shahi Tikka which were served with red masala onions and red chutney both of which complimented the tikka itself really well. Each tikka was cooked to perfection with all there elements on the plate playing off each other wonderfully. I had the chance to taste the Angara Tikka, the Dahi Lasooni Tikka and the Green Tikka as well in the mixed tikka plate. The Angara Tikka was a little spicy and elevated my sense of taste with the very first bite. The green Tikka justified its name and every bite left you wanting more. My favourite tikka for the night was undoubtedly the Dahi Lasooni Tikka because the subtle combination of curd and garlic left my tastebuds spellbound. This was followed by the tikka biriyani which consisted of beautifully cooked aromatic rice topped with tender pieces of tikka. Every bite was a burst of flavours in my mouth. Last but not the least we had the Green Tikka and the Chicken Tikka rolls. What really caught my attention was that the roti was a wheat roti and not a maida one which is what most restaurants serve with a roll. The rolls were really filling as well and easy bite will make you crave for more. What i truly enjoyed was the fact that even though I had so much to eat, I was full but not not stuffed. The food was really healthy and also extremely tasty. What sets Parvez Kebabas apart from all the other kebab places is that Parvez Kebabas is about Bombay Tikkas all the way. This dish is not something I have come across alot in Pune. Walking out of this place, your palette is going to be extremely satisfied and so is your wallet because the price charged for this level of exquisite taste is very reasonable. If you are a fan of the true Bombay Tikkas, then Parvez Kebabs is definitely going to put a smile pn your face.
