A small nice cozy outlet at the entrance of kalyaninagar right next to Gurunanak Sweets. If you are looking for authentic punjabi food with decent pricing this is a perfect joint. They have good combos for single person also dining also. I had two starters one is Tandoori Aloo & paneer lasuni Tikka both where outstanding. Specially the Tandoori Aloo perfectly cooked. In Main course it was paneer Butter masala and roti, was very happy not to get the sweet one. Couldn’t try their special Dal makhni as it was over by that time. So visiting soon for trying much more dishes from the menu.
Amazing Taste. Had ordered Paneer Tikka masala and Veg Handi. Both were very tasty. Try Their Butter milk (Masala Chhas with fudina). And they make rotis with wheat flour.
My husband and I visited Punjabi Spice for dinner. From the moment we walked in, the service was very polite and professional. All of our dishes came out very quickly and were presented beautifully. Each dish had good quantity with quality on the plate, in the first bite itself got to know the taste with perfectly blended spice huh when eaten together tasted amazing. We could not fault the food at all! Overall, the food was amazing and the service was great. Other than that, I would highly recommend for food.
Warning! You can’t go to this restaurant just once; you will keep going back for more. So far I’ve tried half their menu and everything has asli ‘Pind da swaad’ as claimed. Dal Makhani, Chicken Tandoor and Biryani are awesome just as other dishes on the menu. Another warning – and a major one! If you are easily addicted to substances, don’t – I repeat – don’t go anywhere near their Butter Chicken! It is deadly delicious. At most places in Pune, what is served in the name of butter chicken should be listed under desserts. It’s a dreadful sweet dish in Pune; but not at Punjabi Spice! It’s as authentic as it gets – real butter chicken for real people. Perfectly spiced, perfectly cooked. One of the many reasons I keep going back to this place is the staff. They genuinely strive to delight the diners with their food and service. You feel more like a guest than a customer.
We visited this place last week for I was craving to have a really good chicken biryani. On seeing the speciality menu and suggested by the owner we went for butter chicken with garlic naan and then for chicken biryani. Butter Chicken is definitely worth a try, however I would say the biryani really made my day..it had enough quantity of chicken pieces with the rice having exact quantity of oil and flavours not making it over spicy or oily. Awesome taste and really good service.I am really happy to have found a joint serving biryani just the way I love it !I would rate it 5 out of 5, for its service, good quality and price.
