Babbi Daa Punjabi Dhaba is located on the Old Mumbai Pune Highway near Kamshet. It’s a bit difficult to spot the place as parked trucks block the visibility. This desi style eatery is mostly occupied by men, particularly truck drivers and cleaners.You’ll hardly see any families over here, though they have got a separate family section.The ambiance is pretty average and the place is not really very clean. Thankfully the service was prompt and we didn’t have to wait much. The waiters don’t serve the food over here, they simply keep it on the table and you’re expected to fill up your plate. We had ordered for butter chicken and chicken bhuna along with regular rotis. Talking about both the chicken preparations, butter chicken was very spicy and oily. The gravy was topped with oodles of melted butter, but taste wise it was pretty average. You can give this a miss. The server had recommended that we try their Chicken Bhuna, which was quite delicious with big chunks of chicken. Rotis could have been softer. There were couples around us who kept on creating a nuisance as they chugged alcohol and smoked cigars. Certainly not worth a visit, unsafe for ladies and girls.

Typical punjabi highway wala dhaba experience.. all time favorite.. we always go there in night from pune city just for that dhaba wala experience and chill.. 24 hours open.. chicken dishes is really good and in veg typical punjabi paneer dishes is nice, cheap prices.. ambiance is totally like typical dhaba but they have different family section. Service is good, owner is also chill person. Overall it’s nice to visit.
We went to this place for lunch while returning from lonavala.The food was good. We ordered butter chicken, jeera rice, naan and butter roti.The service took a little time.The quantity was enough for 6 people to eat properly.The taste was good.The only problem is that there aren’t a lot of families there. And since it has a permit room, almost all the people were having drinks.I found the place a lil unhygienic but overall good one!
Babbi da dhaba is Open whole night. Located on highway. Food is awesome. The place is very very cheap and the service is very fast. Paneer pakoda is a must try if you are visiting this place. Babbi spl chicken is nice. Mutton sukka/kaleji fry is awesome. Only issue is ambiance but if it doesnt bother you then you must visit the place.Price 5/5Ambiance 2.5/5Food 4/5Service 4/5Overall:3.5/5
Great quality and taste of the food. A bit expensive for students. About ₹450 for two persons. Family section also available. Quantity is decent for each food item
