I think it’s not as healthy as it sounds but good enough for casual dieters to trust. Poha and basic breakfast items are decent. A place not at the top of my list but also not to be ignored.
This is based on food delivery experience. First of all it offers good variety in terms of breakfast ,lunch/dinner and healthy alternatives. Definitely one of the places for simple homely maharashtrian food. Having tried both veg and nonveg options, found overall quality and taste quite good. Thalipeeth, check malvani gravy were quite good and value for money considering generous quantities. Onion fritters were quite good and so the lemon rice. Gulab jamun was ok. Overall quite good food at pocket friendly prices. Packing was ok. One need not to have bakasur’s appetite to taste the food here..Healthy option is yet to be tried and tasted though..
Despite the healthy sounding name, the place is nothing but unhealthy. The food is dripping in oil and the menu has some items which are either deep fried or oily by nature of their cooking procedure. The serving sizes are also disappointing. Their only plus point is their Khandesh menu, which is truly unique, but deceptive. Worth a miss. There are better options in and around thane.
Healthy bakasur has turned unhealthy. Has loads of oil. Malpua dint seem like Malpua- seemed like some sweet ball- very fat and dryy- pic posted below. Disappointing. The last time we ordered, the quality was much better.
Quantity was good. Taste is not that good. I did not find it healthy and don’t know why they call it healthy. Delivery was timely. Not costly.
