This is one of the most amazing picturesque places you will find in Khandala, amazing property and the view from the restaurant is mind blowing especially during monsoon season. Had been here for buffet lunch with family, fantastic experience and good spread of food. However they could improve the deserts section. Quality & service is really good. Buffet prices are slightly on the higher side however it is compensated because of the location.

The food quality overall is very poor. All food items were bland and the flavour balance was not right. If you are looking to enjoy the ambiance over a chilled beer, sure visit the Dutches. But don’t count on food. You can eat at any road-side dhaba on your way to Pune or Mumbai. When we gave feedback of poor food quality, the restaurant was not even ready to accept and the staff started giving justifications. The two stars are for ambiance and the perfectly chilled beer.

Though costly the food quality is extremely good. The location is very picturesque and superb and situated on the edge of the valey. Definitely a must visit place once in four or six months for an excellent lunch.

Welcome back to the food review everyone and i hope you all are doing absolutely fine.Last week around i had been to dukes retreat resort with my office colleagues and before leaving i had the opportunity to have a full breakfast at dutchess restaurant.First view and they had a huge spread of food.I would say a huge shout out for Dutchess for having a great spread which included south indian north indian and juices and English breakfast.I had a great time tasting them and i would let you know a few things i tried.1) Idli sambar:-The idli were soft hot and served with 3 types of chatni which were too good.2) Puri chole:-They had a chole masala with hot puri which was like a classic puri bhaji what you get in north indian hotels.3) Live dosa counter:-The live dosa counter was fully crowded as the dosa were crisp and had options like sada dosa, masala dosa and uthappas.4) Live egg counter:-This was the next counter which was full as they were making customised egg dishes as per your requirement.5)Aloo paratha:-These were decent not wow but you can expect some difference as they were not the classic aloo parathas.6)Muffins ,croissant, breads and donuts:-This was the best breads and muffins spread i sae as they had a toaster and butter wherein you could toast the breads and make it as per your wish.7) Upma and fresh fruits:-The upma was ok but the fresh fruits were just too good.8) Fresh juice, tea, coffee and almond milk:-This was the best juice spread with 4 types of fresh juice, tea, coffee and almond milk.Verdict:-Overall i must say the dukes resort has the best value for money breakfast spread at Dutchess. You will be seriously satisfied with the spread and i bet if you are a foodie like me you would seriously love the spread.

Finally after all these years, I happen to try the food here. This place is beautifully done, over looking the valley the lunch was perfect! Each and every dish was yummilicious!!!! The stir fried veggies is one thing I would want to go back to. The prawns were perfectly tandoored One of the best butter garlic prawns I’ve ever had!!! Superb! Kudos to the chef.So was the chicken malai tikka, soft and juicy, the chicken sandwich tasted lovely with the crunchy outside and soft fillings inside.

This place has amazing views during the day. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay till night time. But it is definitely worth visiting. The food quality is also very good.
