Average Place. A bit slow on service. The PANEER 65 was good in quantity with nice paneer pieces but bitter due to too much mustard. The ALOO PYAAZ and PANEER PYAAZ parathas were average. Fried and a bit overcooked. The sides in the paratha thali were better than the parathas.Ambiance is good but service could be better.
A recent visit to ‘Namaste Kitchen’ which is a North Indian restaurant. The speciality of this place is that they have all products from north region which make the food so authentic. We had Dal bati churma which was dipped in pure ghee and on top of it they pour dal which was amazing in taste it was thick and different.Gatte ki sabhji; The first time I had gatte ki sabji and it was so delicious.Italia paratha; The paratha is like Indian pizza, the paratha is so cheesy and yummy served with curd and mint chutney.
A nice, small, two storeyed place, behind the gorgeous IT park, which serves good traditional food. I personally was really impressed by the overall look of the place. The place has a nice aura. Once you enter, you will understand they have tried their best to give a traditional look to the place. Stairs lead upstairs to a covered semi-open seating. The tables and chairs are wooden, giving the place a vibe of a sophisticated dhaba. Overall a nice place to be, a good place to hang out with family and friends.Positives: Great traditional food, good overal variety in both traditional as well as other vegetarian items, innovative seating, one of the best Dal batis and Parathas youll try in the city,Recommended for: Family outing, Friends, people who love to have traditional Indian food. Some must haves:1) Dal Bati special Thali: Soft, tempting Bati, bathed in a pool of Ghee, with moderately spicy, tasty Dal, was a treat here. Something which I would want everyone to try. Served in a very aesthetically arranged plate, with Kadhi, Gatte ki Sabji, Chhas and Choorma. Its a steal deal I must say!2) Sev Paratha Thali: Sev stuffed inside parath is a speciality of the Rajasthan Up belt of India and these guys have brought in this innovation to Pune. Personally, I have tried it for the first time and loved it!! The loaded sev stuffing is felt even at the edges of the paratha , and when had with curd, chutney, etc, tastes delicious. These parathas here are made in a special heavy Tawa and hence are deep fried. Also, along with it we get Baingan ka bharta, Chaas, choorma and chutney.3) Rajma curry: Traditional dish made to perfection. Spicy and delicious. Best had with piping hot buttered rotis.4) Also, they serve some amazing starters like Poha cutlet, Harabhara kebab and some good Noodles too.
