The place is located near sector 12 corner in kharghar. They are having both AC and non AC section. The staff is quick in service. You will usually find a place to have your meal. It is one of the oldest restaurant in kharghar.They provide good quality vegetarian food at an affordable rate.
I recently visited Ambika bhawan. It is close to the highway and is well connected. The food is delicious. Though the quality is nice and the restaurant is pretty cheap, I found some items to be undercooked. It’s mostly unnoticeable for most people. The rice quality is great. The quantity of food is adequate and competitive. The taste is good. As it is crowded at weekends and at some nights, it’s better to order online.

Its Go to Restaurant for me every time simply because its near to my home. Restaurant has good ambiance, Proper sitting.Ihave tried their Dal khichdi and its Awesome. I think it Very Few good Veg Restaurant kharghar hasFood Quality – GoodQuantity – GoodTeste – FantasticShould try their idli- wada sambar.

The ambiance of Ambika Bhawan is dark, shady and all in all really sad. A few of the lights have fused and they have not even been repaired or replaced. It looks like it has been made 70 years back. It’s like going back in time.We ordered the pav bhaji, masala pav, set dosa, idli and veg cheese sandwich. The pav bhaji and masala pav was decent-it was the best of the lot.The set dosa was yellow, sweet and tasted like a malpua. We sent it back and the owners kept arguing with us as to how it was authentic set dosa of Mangalore.The sandwich was practically tasteless. Barely any chutney scraped on one side of the bread and a tiny bit of cheese grated sparsely on top.The idli was cold and most probably stale. The Sambhar that came with the dosa as well as idli was sweet. Literally dessert sweet.It was a sad and putting off experience with bad food and a terrible ambiance as well.
