Another overhyped rating for an average food . Ordered Malai Kofta with Yellow Gravy ( but was delivered gravy similar to sweet white gravy ), Bhindi Pyaz Sabzi ( sweet in taste ) , Khasta Roti ( sweet in taste ) & Missi Roti .Malai Kofta (3/5) : Average taste considering white gravy.Bhindi Pyaz Sabzi (2/5) : Never tasted so sweet sabzi . Didn’t like it.Khasta Roti (3/5) : Tried it for the first time but didn’t liked it very much . It was sweet in taste.Missi Roti (4/5) : Missi Roti was soft and OK.
Last Thursday visited nanuji with my family for the lunch it was around 1-2pm.The location of the place is in prime location of the kharghar .The ambience and decor are quite good . They have well maintained the seating arrangements .The service is quick and prompt. We hadThali it was costing around 255 INR .First they had served us welcome drink it was mojito . Chilli Milli. Was up-to the mark.Steamed rice and Dal tadka was also remarkably good..so. overall it was good time spent there with yummy food and great ambience.. Service too was not bad.. Must try
Nanuji is famous for its superior flavours and variety of dishes in veg. It is located in Kharghar (near Utsav Chowk).Ambience- Ambience was simple and elegant with proper thought given to the comfort of customers. They have kept the lightings minimal and added a lot of abstract paintings to the decor.Staff- Staff was polite and courteous.Food- Food was super delicious and the desserts were drool worthy. We ordered-Starters:Royal soupMocktails:Virgin Mojito,PinacoladaMain Course:Special Veg ThaliDessert:Gajar Halwa,Moong daal halwaGreat place for vegetarians. Overall experience was great.
An Iconic restaurant after serving for decades in Vashi, opened another restaurant in Kharghar. I have been a huge fan of their classic Moong dal halwa and Gajar ka Halwa since ages. Every time I crave for these desserts, I head to this classic restaurant with no doubts. What make them stand out is also their food. Top quality and flavourful food is what makes this brand a popular choice among the customers. So the moment I knew about the new restaurant in Kharghar, I jumped in joy and determined visiting this place. Located on a quite street away from the main road, this restaurant is a two floor one. The ground floor has a limited seating capacity while the first floor can host good numbers. The moment I entered this place, the staff greeted me with a smile. They ensured that I get the most comfortable seating space.I started with a Manchow soup. Served piping hot along with fries noodles. The noodles were crunchy and fresh. While the soup was perfectly flavoured with soya sauce and veggies. I loved the spice quotient it had. Do try this.Paneer Royal Roll Tikka – Having a paneer appetizer is almost mandatory when at a restaurant that serves delicious Indian cuisine. I quickly ordered this paneer appetizer which was their speciality as well. The paneer was kinda stuffed with cheese and mint spice. They were well marinated in spices and grilled on tandoor oven. This adds a smoky flavour to the overall appetizer. With every bite you take the flavours will just burst on your taste pallette. Quite heavy on stomach but was absolutely delicious. Do try this for sure.Deluxe Thali : This was a huge thali with several delicacies. It had 2 veggies, 1 starter, pulao, dal takda, salad and raita. And lastly a sweet that made it complete.Below are the ones that I had :Palak Paneer – This super veggie was next I tasted. Huge diced fresh paneer was added to Spinach puree. Not high on spices, the combination was delectable. Have it with garlic naan and you will love it even more. Though I do believe that they can increase the spice quotient a bit.Stuffed Haribhari Tikki – Made of chopped vegetables and cashew, these tikkis are served with spicy green chutney. Crunchy outer portion while the inner portion was soft and cheesy. Do try this.Dal Tadka – I must admit, this is the best Dal I have had after so long. Absolutely delicious and I couldn’t actually stop drooling. Right on spices, this Dal was topped with Desi ghee tadka. Perfectly cooked Dal and a great one to have it with jeera rice or pulao. Loved it.Pulao – Long grain premium quality rice was used. It had veggies like carrots, beans and so. Flavoured with cardamom, it added further richness. It also had huge shallow fried chunks of fresh paneer. The quantity was right enough. Have it with the special raita they serve.Assorted Roti Basket – The basket was loaded with one garlic naan, one missi roti, one tandoori butter roti and soft chapatis. All of them very made really well. The whole wheat tandoori roti was my favourite.Gulab Jamun – Perfect hot sweet gulab jamuns were served. You can actually taste the khoya and elaichi flavour. Not too sweet, you can gulp as much as you wish to. Topped with almonds, one cannot resist it. Do have this. Also had Mint Mojito which was decent and well balanced. Loaded with mint, lemon and Sprite. Was truly refreshing.Overall this place is heaven for vegetarians. The great quality food is the highlight of this place. Surely coming back. Best for family dinners and get together. Do try their special Moong Dal Halwa..
Nanuji is a very decent, proper family restaurant opened up in Kharghar. It has amazing Ambience and the vibes are pleasurable. The food really tasty..*KAJU SAMAAN ROLL- one unique dish which we found. Veggie stripes covered with diced Kaju pieces. Highly recommended if you are in a mood to experiment*Delux Thali- simply amazing thali with the whole 5 course meal. This thaali contained corn tikki and Paneer satay in the starters, Royal Soup, veg Afghaani, panner Kolhapuri, dal Tadka pulav, raita and roomali roti, Missi roti, and garlic naan. All in the desert was Gulab jamun. All were so damn flavourful and yum. Definitely a try.
We overall had a good experience dining over here.We had ordered Veg Manchow soup in Appetisers to start with, which was very tasteful. For the starters, we went for a different combo: Veg Spring roll and Hara bhara kebab where the former took a bit of time to serve but was worth the wait. Also we went in for for what is famous in this restaurant, Khichiya papad churi which was a very unique preparation and different dish to try out. Would suggest to have a go at it and you will not be disappointed .For the main course we went in for Indian as well as continental : Subj E mumtaz mahal, Paneer kaju curry, Dal makhani along with Indian breads and white sauce ravioli pasta. All the dishes were very good to taste, not too oily and every dish having its own touch. Would recommend Ravioli pasta to all the pasta lovers because being a pasta lover, I loved the way it was cooked and prepared.
