Fusion Dosa is a compact, neat n clean setup in one of the bylanes of Salunkhe Vihar churning out traditional along with fusion varieties of Dosa, uttapam and idli. Kids will love this place with so many aflatooni varieties. The menu makes you drool with pasta Dosa, Nutella Dosa, lays cheese Dosa. Too much this is. Spoilt for choice we tried the cheese burst Dosa, stir fried schezwan idli. along with the standard idli and filter coffee. Soft n hot idlis were just wow. Idli stir fried in schezwan sauce with sprinklings of spring onions was something different and nice. Cheese burst Dosa was a cheesy affair, would have preferred it to be gooey n melting. This had cheese just sprinkled over it. Filter coffee was good.
This is not a restaurant review but a product review, since we only ordered Cut Masala Cheese Dosa.The dosa was cut into 7 slices and the tasted nice, with adequate stuffing of cheese, which smelt heavenly.The accompaniment included the traditional Sambar and coconut chutney and one special chutney which was tamarind based, and was the best of the lot.Nice option for breakfast, light and tasty.

They not only serve dosa but they also have South Indian menu covered by giving it a twist.FoodStir fry schezwan idli 4.5/5: The idli was nice and crunchy and was not at all oily. It was perfectly tossed in the schezwan sauce and garnished with spring onion. The sauce was not over powering the dish and that’s why it was amazing.Pasta dosa 4/5: As the restaurant’s name itself says fusion dosa here it is. An amazing fusion. Instead of the common potato filling here they had pasta(macaroni) filling. It was just amazing. The stuffing was overloaded which made it taste more tasty.Butter ghotala dosa 3.8/5: A simple masala dosa having a loads and loads of butter and cheese. It was amazing.Corn spinach cheese dosa 3/5: This dosa size was large than any other regular dosa. The dosa lacked many flavors in it. The spinach was overpowering the taste of dosa. And it lacked spiciness and the creamy texture which was expected.Nutella dosa crepe 3.5/5: It was of the same size as the corn spinach cheese dosa. I expected the dosa might be loaded with Nutella. But it didn’t satisfy me. The texture of the dosa was amazing. The dosa was topped with Nutella and then banana chops.ChutneyCoconut chutney was amazingMint chutney was not that good it was like a paste.Filter coffee 4/5: Taste wise it was amazing. But it was a bit pricey. It was nice and had an amazing taste of ground coffee.Overall it is a nice place to visit if you are in that area.
