Ambience was good. But food wasn’t very great. We tried the Aglio-e-olio pasta, it was just too oily and only cooked in oregano and chilli flakes. Cottage cheese sandwich was okay. French toast roll ups with chicken sausage was just too oily
We had ordered 1 Big Community veg and 1 chicken stroganoff with brown rice and 2 smoothies 1 protein and1 choc peanut. We had explicitly mentioned that we want smoothies first. Still, we received it after almost finishing our half the meal. After asking for smoothies almost for 5times they have us complimentary drink for the veg community. It will chill but completely watery watermelon juice. No taste at all. Straw was brokenSmoothies were not at all cold, they were near to room temperature. Chilli sauce with the veg community was stell and toasts were not properly toasted.. butter was applied just in the middle. Chicken stroganoff gravy was very less in quantity as compared to rice. n major problem was we many mosquitos were there and no provision for it, Not really happy with this visit..
Ordered Margarita Pizza and Paneer tikka pizza with Zomato Gold. The margarita pizza was missing Basil, Buffalo Morzerella cheese which r basic key ingredients for the Pizza. Same with Paneer Tikka. The pieces were not chargrilled. The taste was good but not to my preference. This is my personal opinion.

Community Cafes are very popular in the West and have prominently contributed in spreading hip culture there. These cafes generally aim at making people from different backgrounds meet and form a community to benefit one another. I found this cafe named Community Cafe in Pune, very near to where I was staying there during my stay and it looked very beautiful with all the lights, open seating and a secluded entrance. The overall set up was a bit hip and rusty and that added to the charm of the place. They even had a cart kept in the centre and some graffitis on the walls which looked great too.We started with a “Paneer Peri Peri Sandwich” which had paneer bhurji mixed with some mint sauce and mayonnaise stuffed in brown bread along with some veggies. The sandwiches gave a very homely feel though some chips along with those would have been amazing. Next we tried some “Masala Fries” which were very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the peri peri masala was very similar to McDonalds which made them taste brilliant. Moving to the main course, we ordered a “Paneer Tikka Pizza” which simply was the star dish of our meal. The pizza was loaded with cheese and grilled paneer and the sauces used gave the pizza an amazing flavour. We also ordered a “Pink Sauce Pasta” which had an amazing sauce but was a bit too much. The quantity of sauce could have been reduced a little to make this pasta more enjoyable. But nonetheless it was still pretty good. The drinks accompanying my meal were “Oreo Shake”, “Chocolate Shake”, “Watermelon & Mint Cold Pressed Juice” & a “Virgin Mojito”. The best of the lot were there shakes. The oreo shake had the best consistency. The chocolate shake was a bit thin though and could have had better consistency. The juice was quite good in taste but wasn’t cold. The Virgin mojito was at its usual best. The service was a bit shaky in the beginning but picked up very nicely as the meal progressed. Being a community cafe, they do not focus much on getting the food quickly onto your table rather they take their own sweet time to get the food to your table so that you can easily divulge in interesting conversations meanwhile. The steward handling our table was very courteous and was very informed about the menu.Overall, Community Cafe ensures a very pleasant experience especially for students who live around it who love to interact with other people. The economical pricing with some great food and drink options definitely attracts the students residing near this cafe which by the way are in abundance and this place being open from breakfast till pretty late in night makes this place a very convenient one for them too! foodtraveletc.weebly.com

I visited this cafe last week and tried two dishes of the menu :Pasta Alfredo ( Spaghetti ), Veg club SandwhichThis cafe has open sitting arrangement. It has a very distinctive decor.Kettle and the menu card are quite quirky.Pasta Alfredo :Spaghetti with white sauce along with mushroomsWhite sauce was served along with garlic bread, but i felt the garlic bread very dry and the pasta lacked salt is what i feltRating : 3.5/5Veg Club Sandwhich :It consisted Tomato,Onion,Cucumber,Mayo,Cheese,Potato,Green chutney and cheese. This one has its taste and was much better than the pasta.Rating : 4/5Cost wise the quantity is good.
