My visit to Curry n Biryani (offers only Take Away) left me with a mixed taste. While the take away Biryani tasted really great to my liking, the pre-service was a disaster to the nth degree. Was made to wait for an hour to receive my delivery with no one at the counter, no other waiting customer at all. The management needs to ensure that the ‘stock’ is always available when someone comes for a take-away, more importantly because ‘Take-Away’ is ur Tagline !You can’t make customers wait an hour for Take Away especially when Take Away is all you offer. Would recommend again for the food but not for the pre-service and PR. Probably a ‘worst-case’ option for me in the future.
I was passing by with my husband and noticed this outlet inside a small lane on the main road, just where the DP road starts. Their banner was very catchy which drew us towards the place. We ordered half plate Chicken Dum Biryani. It was well decorated with dry fruits and pomegranate seeds which was something different and I liked the flavour it gave. The quantity was sufficient. The rice was very aromatic with mellow spices. The chicken pieces were very well marinated, flavourful and succulent. The Rassa which they had provided alongside was truly झणझणीत (hot & spicy) and it actually had a different taste from the usual red gravies we get everywhere else as curries.I really liked the place (it was hygienic too), the taste, and prices seemed reasonable. I will definitely visit/order again.
